Over the last week I replaced my brakes and rotors with DBA. 4yrs of Canadian winters made it a challenge, but its done. Also went back to original endlinks from adjustables.
I touched up the underside of my bumper cover after hitting this shallow ravine, aka a gutter. Notice the marks in the asphalt, this has been going on for years on years - Centerville, Utah. The "city fathers" probably like leaving traps like this around to make people drive slowly in neighborhoods. The incident happened yesterday afternoon in a fully loaded car, my wife and three grandkids. The first gutter after the stop sign is shallower, nothing happened, I crossed the intersection and WHAM!WHAM! just that fast, the front of my car got impacted by the ground followed by the battery box. This morning, I returned to the site to document what had happened. Then I stopped in a parking lot and used the sunny morning to ply the touchup paint. Not "all better", but a darn sight better.
How hard were they to remove? Did any 2018-2021 Stinger get factory black tips? I know the Scorpion, Grand Tourer and Apex edition did but those are 2022, 2023 with the massive sized tips.
There are 2 screws, 1 is hidden up top above the inner tip and an absolute pain but I got to em lol
1 above the outside tip and 2 x 10mm bolts underneath each tip.
The sad part is the last time i painted them with normal gloss black spray paint, this time I went with heat resistant powercoating and it cost me $313 !!!
I'm not home but in the pic it looks rough and not that flash at all

Follow up. I discovered that three pop rivets are gone from the RF wheel well liner, go figure. It only took me a week to notice - it was the join between the fender and bumper cover not being tight and parallel that caught my attention. Ima getting an oil change at the dealer right now, and asked them to replace the rivets at the same time. Fingers crossed.
edit to add, oil change went smoothly, they replaced my three missing pop rivets - for nothing - and confirmed that the only damage was cosmetic. And, they didn't bring up the left turbo oil feed pipe recall. That was unexpected. I won't, if they won't. Heh!
edit-edit, Ima back at the dealer for second oil change. Doing both Stingers in one day. Then we're good for another year.
Original factory bulb went out so I changed both halogen to an even bright white. Im planning on doing some upgrades to leds soon but didn’t want to be without a light at night.
So the previous owner had debadged the rear OEM "AWD", "GT" and/or "KIA" "stinger" script badges and replaced them with the "GTT2" and black stinger script that was a bit off center.
It looked something like this when I got it
The rear script never looked correct because it's too far to the left as related to the license plate. I don't mind the GTT2 logo....for now
I have since put on the newer Porsche style rear lettering and the AWD badge from the G70 as I like the stylized look
