What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

installed mykeypremium onto the car (canadian model) holy shit that bracket that's in the way of those wires is absolutely annoying to deal with.

Any pics, how about a review of the functionality, is it perfect aside from the annoying bracket?

functionality it's good, I got the auto lock/unlock when you walk away/towards the car so that's a neat trick, takeover when starting the car with this method is nice, don't have to turn the car on again once the door opens. Other than that, I'm trying to get used to the 2 button press with that 1 second interval in between to get the car started but so far nothing bad to say about it.

I 100% followed this video
to get it installed, vise-grips to bend the bracket down and than just kinda get in there. I didn't really need to use that pick to get at the tabs released but somehow my finger was able to fit at the blue connection and work towards the red/green afterwards.

packing away the wires... is a whole other thing, I kinda just pushed it up and let it sit and forced that panel back into place while the mykey box thing was tucked similar to the way the guy did in the video but I have it not so far down the firewall just in case any passengers decides to like stretch their legs and hit it or something

^^You get poorer mpg, yet same DTE with same size gas tank. That makes perfect sense.

This was a couple months ago, so a little late on the "today" part, but I gave my Stinger a worthy place to park.
DId the 2 tone paint job to walls/door, RaceDeck FreeFlow flooring, baseboards and trim molding. RaceDeckCar1.webp

That's not "to" your Stinger, that's "for" your Stinger. And there is a thread on here about garages for Stingers - and of course other cars. Whats your stingers garage look like
Ok, there is a lot of off-topic posts on this thread. All the car wash posts are pretty thin then too if you want to be all nit-picky about it.

Anyways, did not know there was a specific garage thread, certainly not a popular one that would have came up in the feeds often.

Not many sedans can pull this off.

Used the Stinger this morning to transport my new freshly cured grill surround for the Lightning. Took it to get PPF done on it. Last week it was a full set of winter rims/tires, this week a full grill surround. Love the capability of the Stinger!

I was feeling humorous. Lost in translation. Sorry for coming across snarky.

Forget the amout of room lets dicuss the custom upholstery choice! Just playing. I will say, by my own doing and choice, i cant carry what i could before. Definitely screws me sometimes on picking things up. Gotta take the wifes ride sometimes.

The first time I put something 8 feet long completely inside the stinger, without even impeding on the front passenger space, I was impressed. Then in a pinch I had to try 10' drywall corners because they were out of 8', and it fit right on top of the dash no problem.

Won't fit a 4x8, but for skinny lengths it's in full size SUV territory.

Haha, that's just the blanket we use between the stinger and the jeep when we gotta haul something we want a lil bit more protected. Homemade super soft blanket from years ago for the win.

Very nice.

I bet blacking out the chrome trim above doors would complement the wheels nicely

Now you just need an updated avatar. I think the gun metal looks good too. But I also prefer gloss black. That's what I did to my OEM GT wheels.
