got some more goodies on the way. a front splitter, oem mud guards since mine didn't come with them, and amber delete covers on headlights and smoked side markers. hopefully all installed by tuesday.
Yes it's in the body shop being repaired and I received that notification along with my doors unlocked and the app Kia Access expired a long time ago. Just the free version of it
Added OEM mud guards... small thing but I just like the way they accent the styling and add to the black and gray theme I have going. View attachment 83114View attachment 83115
I'm liking how the vent looks in black. Are the mirror caps also in gloss black? I've always wanted to change some of the "black chrome" to gloss black. Makes it look so much meaner.

I went with matte black on those. It's easy to paint them. I bought them online but they were black with crystals in the paint. I just scrubbed them with sand paper, did a coat of adhesive promoter, and 4 or 5 coats of matte black and swapped the dark chrome out. This is the first time I've done so much DIY on mods.

I put them on to keep the paint from getting "sandblasted". There was noticeable degrading of the paint starting near the rear wheel wells and the guards stopped that. Interestingly, I didn't see the same happening behind the front tires. Maybe it was just going take longer.
If you want more coverage go with the slim Rokblokz. They stick out away from the car a bit more and also hang lower. I can drive on pretty damp roads and not end up with crap sprayed down the side of the car.
If you want even more protection from small rocks and pebbles, consider doing mesh over the back vents in the front fenders. It’s a cheap and easy mod to do that will keep junk from flying thru that air vent and down the side of your doors.
