What did I do? I had a Nightmare that I made the mistake of trading in my stinger for a GR Corolla. I woke up and immediately had to double check my keys to make sure it was not real.

I already have an elantra N at my disposal, the all around better car anyway, So no need for one even if I wanted it lol

recently had a ppf clear bra put on the front bumper. noticed a foggy patch in the lower left corner that would not come off with washing, have washed three times and nothing, sprayed with onr-laced spray bottle rubbed with microfiber and nothing. just got back from the body shop that put the ppf on and showed it to a guy and he opined that it could be 'overspray', and I opined that as unlikely since you paint first (heh!). then he got lower on one knee and rubbed really vigorously with his bare palm and said, 'I think I got it all.' I was unbelieving and looked and by dang he did! the 'fog' is gone. 'what have you got on your magic hands?' I said and went away satisfied if also mystified. sometimes muscle is the only answer.

The film in that area was probably not fully stuck to the body and that was why it looked foggy. I suspect that there was a concave body curve in that area and he managed to stretch the film enough that it was able to follow the contour of the body.

I hope to heck that you are mistaken about 'not fully stuck', especially since it has been well over a month since the ppf was installed. it looks fully 'stuck' to me, and the body in front of the wheels is flat not concave or curved at all.

added JB4.

Let the fun begin.
What map are you trying?
been running map 2 for about a week. initial logs showed some knock on 93 so mixed in some e85 and just runnin through a tank of that. its not my daily. on next fill up im going to get some new logs and see how it looks, then maybe bump to map 3.

Gave my new Stinger its first wash today. I'm not the best at it, yet, but at least I'm making the effort. She's a beauty to wash. However, I did notice a chip on the front bumper near the right Devil's Claw Canard that I added today (damn rocks!). At least, I assume it was already there before I washed it... but I am a car noob, so can't say for sure.

I made the following changes after the wash:
- Replaced my front license plate with a laser-engraved stinger delete (sadly there was a third hole below the plate, so I have to leave a screw in there for now... ugh!).
- Replaced my rear license plate frame with a GT2 logo carbon fiber frame.
- Added an AWD badge below the GT badge.
- I added the carbon fiber Stinger logo decal set to the side reflectors.
- Added front and rear Devil's Claw Canards.

I'm looking into the other suggestions that seem to be common for Stinger owners. I just don't know how much I trust myself to install them properly. Nor do I know anyone else that I trust will install it properly. Is there anyone in the Philly area that would be interested in helping me out???!
