What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

^^So far all of mine have been on the plastic. I think there's any on the hood. Will have to check next time I drive it (barely once a week).

Bought a borescope recently. I had some free time this weekend so I decided to look down the intakes and take a peak at the turbo fins. Found one black spot (almost a smooth, dried, tar-like mark) on one of the fins, on each turbo. Very strange, and not sure what it is or how it got there. With the VT Snorkels I regularly look at/clean/knock out debris on my air filters, and have never seen any puncture or marking of anything making it through.

Curious, if anyone knows what this may be, or has seen this before on a current or previous car.

Took her out for a nice Sunday drive today, still runs like a champ. DS_Fin1.webp

Gave my new Stinger its first wash today. I'm not the best at it, yet, but at least I'm making the effort. She's a beauty to wash. However, I did notice a chip on the front bumper near the right Devil's Claw Canard that I added today (damn rocks!). At least, I assume it was already there before I washed it... but I am a car noob, so can't say for sure.

I made the following changes after the wash:
- Replaced my front license plate with a laser-engraved stinger delete (sadly there was a third hole below the plate, so I have to leave a screw in there for now... ugh!).
- Replaced my rear license plate frame with a GT2 logo carbon fiber frame.
- Added an AWD badge below the GT badge.
- I added the carbon fiber Stinger logo decal set to the side reflectors.
- Added front and rear Devil's Claw Canards.

I'm looking into the other suggestions that seem to be common for Stinger owners. I just don't know how much I trust myself to install them properly. Nor do I know anyone else that I trust will install it properly. Is there anyone in the Philly area that would be interested in helping me out???!
One of the best purchases I made was PPF right after I picked up the car. It really does a great job.

My guy is pretty far north from Philly, but did a fantastic job. Covers my carbon fiber as I install it and replaced a panel that got damaged by a chunk of retread. He’s done a few cars on the forum and just finished a friends Porsche. Everyone has been very happy.

On that note, I later installed Rokblokz and haven’t gotten a chip down the side of the car since.

^ This! 3 years in and I still don't have any chips thanks to PPF. This is a MUST imo if you plan on keeping a car for any length of time, especially if you want it to look nice.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Spent Thursday and Friday at IMR in CT this weekend getting my Secondary's and HFC's installed, but also working on prototypes for new parts that should be announced soon-ish, that we have been working on for a while. Ended up finishing up at 1am then drove 2 hours straight home. It is amazing how much these turbos can breath now. Ive done some 0-60 pulls with them on, and my 0-60 seems to be anywhere from 0.28 to 0.35 seconds quicker than it was before. That's on Stock LC as well.

I also went with PPF and ceramic coating. My whole front end has PPF so no chips after about 18 months with the car.

When I had the holes on my bumper I used this website to buy plugs to fill the holes.

exorbitant! That should be the price for a full set (of six); but I'd pay up anyway, to get rid of any holes (thankfully, neither of mine had been drilled).

not today but yesterday I was too bumped out to write anything.

tried to remove what I thought was a clear coat scratch, quite a foot long mostly forward of the driver's door.

rubbing compound revealed this was deeper than mere surface.

wet-dry sandpaper worked to make the scratch almost invisible, but now I have two small dark patches where the clear coat got 'burned' away and almost through the base coat. damnation. when will finally learn that Ima not good at this no matter how much I talk myself into trying it one more time.

Debadged...

Debadged...
Normally I like the debadged look but taking everything off is took much for me. I'd need something on the front ar least. I do absolutely LOVE your tail lights though. Bought that light bar to swap into my 2020 didn't go as planned last year. I really want the turn signals you have as well but they're about 700+ just for those. That's a fortune just for some turn signals. Even though they do happen to be sequential.

It'd be nice if the K8 Store could get ahold of those. That would at least save me some money since I have gift cards from them.
