Installed the SXTH Element OCC, VT BIG MOUTH Air Scoops and AEM drop in panel filters. Went for a quick 30 minute spin, so far so good.
Try spraying soapy water around the area for a positive pressure leak and shaving cream for vacuum. To keep y'all updated on my install last week, my SXTH OCC seems to be making/causing some type of hissing noise.
Checked the o ring on the can, and it's seated properly with the can snugged up nicely all the way till close. All hoses have the clamps tightened down really well. The check valve has the arrow pointed towards the intake. The noise sounds like it's coming more from where the hose is hooked up to the intake manifold. The hissing noise also doesn't happen till the engine is warm, and seems to not be 100% constant.
Lastly, if I pinch a hose, the noise goes away. See video link:
The car is running/driving great, builds boost, no leaks...at least to what I can feel.
I posted with more info, on this thread: What's good catch can
If there is a problem, and I find a solution, I'll post it up here.
Good for youBad news — sold my Stinger GT2 today after 13 months of ownership
Good news — bought the car for $38,500 February 2020 doing the lease buyout and sold the car with 13,005 miles for $38,500 in less than 24 hrs. Fairly confident I could have gotten another $1,000 or so but honestly, when’s the last time you bought a new car and then sold it for the same price you purchased it.
was a great car with zero regrets of the purchase or the selling. A lot can happen in 12 months and since it was completely paid for, I now have the same amount of cash for a different type of opportunity.
What was your reason for selling a car you're perfectly happy with?Bad news — sold my Stinger GT2 today after 13 months of ownership

ah ok!Thanks! Actually maybe the way I wrote it is a bit misleading. I wrapped the stock hood with a carbon fiber wrap. The product is called.
VViVid Black 3D Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap
The Stinger was paid for. Once I realized I could sell it for what I paid for it, it was a no brainer for me. I had also been thinking about cashing out on the Stinger to pursue another opportunity. It all just kind of came together in about 24 hours. What was your reason for selling a car you're perfectly happy with?

might be a crack in that fitting or a cut in a hose.
I'm interested to know how long that all takes. I'm waiting on a callback from my local's parts department for the same.Currently sitting up at Bridgewater Kia getting the HECU recall done
I was at the dealership for 1.5 hours but my car was not pulled in right away so about an hour for the service. Car came back to me as it left, just also cleaner and disinfected. Happy to have it finished!I'm interested to know how long that all takes. I'm waiting on a callback from my local's parts department for the same.
I had the same experience a couple months ago. I was there for 1.5 hrs but tool them about 30 mins until they brought my Stinger into their garage to do the recall work.I was at the dealership for 1.5 hours but my car was not pulled in right away so about an hour for the service. Wish I could find the HiChroma Red hot wheels to match my real life HiChroma Red Stinger. I have only found the hot wheels in the cement color.Bought 2 more Stingers in High Chroma Red.
One is for a friend, one is for me and my ever growing collection.
I haven't found any Hot Wheels Stingers in any stores. The colors are all available on eBay, but I haven't added a Red yet (have the Blue and Ceramic).Wish I could find the HiChroma Red hot wheels to match my real life HiChroma Red Stinger. I have only found the hot wheels in the cement color.
Just wondering how you sold it - private party, online seller (like Carvana, etc)? The Stinger was paid for. Once I realized I could sell it for what I paid for it, it was a no brainer for me. No regrets to owning it. I think, like many others, over the last 12 months, that priorities have changed. I own a 2018 Ford Raptor and have found myself driving that more and more over the past year.
I sold it Private Party. In addition, Carmax offered me $37,400 so I had options. Selling it in 24 hrs and getting what I paid for it brand new seemed like a great deal considering where our economy has been for the last 12 months and that vehicles are depreciating assetsJust wondering how you sold it - private party, online seller (like Carvana, etc)?
