Got her back tonight. Picked her up from the collision center. So glad! The Chevy Spark hatchback rental was awful. After driving that for 4 days it made me re-appreciate my Stinger and the power.Update: The older gentleman who hit me must have finally returned the call since I got word from All State that they accepted liability. Their initial estimate was $460 of damage but I'm sure a brand new rear bumper, paint, clear coat, labor, etc. will cost far more than that. There are also sensors in the bumper as well.
I bring my Stinger into a local auto collision center on Monday and they will determine what is needed to properly repair it.
All State said I can get a basic economy rental car. They won't pay for gas, mileage, or insurance but I submit the final receipt to them at the end and will receive reimbursement for all other costs.
You get everything installed today?Posted an update on What's a good catch can thread, but basically no solution yet. Any updates to this OCC, I will post over there.
Thanks for all your help, I appreciate it.
Thursday I'm planning on installing my Ark secondary downpipes (midpipes), Magnaflow exhaust and new black tips. Hopefully that one goes smoother. I'll post up here after the install.
Very cool!Yep, Deviatedstandards, I just didn't have time to post.
Yesterday my dad and I installed the Ark secondary downpipes (midpipes), Magnaflow exhaust and Carbon Fiber tips. Overall, it went really smooth. Started around 10:45am, finished about 2:30p, with a long lunch break in the middle. All pieces seem really well made, and almost lined up to factory, about 99% there. The downpipes connecting the to MF exhaust was a tiny bit off at first, but after evenly snugging everything up, then torquing it all down to spec, it sat really nice with the outlets almost center to the rear bumper holes.
The only complaint I have is the CF tips are rubbing pretty bad on the two outer bumper holes (far driver side & far passenger side). I think I'll be taking off those two tips and carefully cutting the outer ovals to make more room.
Looks good, sound great. Attached are some pics, with some links to videos. Forgive the first two videos, it started raining and the wind picked up right when we wrapped up the install. The last video was a little later in the day after the skies cleared up. As most have stated before, the videos do not do the sound justice (shot on an iPhone...no fancy A/V equipment here). The exhaust is a decent amount louder than what it seems in these videos.
That sneaker is dangerously close to your pristine Micro Blue paint!?Let her breath! Installed NGT Catless Primaries yesterday with the help of a friend. I have 50K on the Odo, and was really worried about the bolts snapping. I used good ol' WD40 and sprayed them a few times through the week last week, and no problems, bolts came right out without any issues at all. I have to say, you can really feel the difference with the open primaries. Freaking love it.
Just some pics I took during the install:

It's a rubberized paint that you can paint on a surface. It can be removed after a period of time by just pulling it off. It is fairly tough too. When I am saying Dipped, it's the brand from dipyourcar website. My wheels were $600 to powder coat and they lasted about a year before the coating started chipping. This method was only about $80 and I think it looks pretty good. I won't get as much use out of them but a solid 6 months should be fine. Then if I either decide to go another color or finally get new wheels.Dipped? Im slow please explain. But i do like em!
Gotcha....you tell me dipped im old school so dipped it is, chrome, gold and so on. If you had said the plasticoat i would have been right with you. Hahaha hey i said i was old. They do look good. The car definitely will scream look at me now no doubt. As if that blue didn't beforeIt's a rubberized paint that you can paint on a surface. Does the window have to come out to remove that black plastic piece that is under the door card? Also, how much noise reduction did it yield?installed sound treatment to my rear doors.
CLD on the outer door skins and 1/16" mass-loaded-vinyl behind the door card.

With the Blue and bronze gold, you are going to be channeling a little old skool Colin McRae 555 WRX rally carSo my powder coated wheels have been looking pretty rough lately. I decided to dip them. I think they turned out pretty good. Going to get them put on tomorrow. I went with Burnt copper.
So ya got the old dirty dish towel wash of your Stinger did ya. Not so lucky youI was at the dealership for 1.5 hours but my car was not pulled in right away so about an hour for the service. Car came back to me as it left, just also cleaner and disinfected. Happy to have it finished!
