What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I ordered 2 sets (4 pieces) of the WIX WA 10837 & 10838 Engine Air Filters as replacement for the OEM KIA Air Filters from Rock Auto.
This could be of interest to Canadian Stinger owners:
Trying very hard I did not find a Seller in Canada or US - other than Rock Auto - who would sell ONE filter for much less than $50.00, all in shipping & taxes incl., and you need two.
RockAuto's charges looked like this:
Tax, Total, & Payment
Parts Cost CAD$97.52
Shipping + CAD$ 9.91
GST/HST + CAD$12.68
CAD$120.11

In effect, each filter cost me C$30.00/US$21.75, landed . I am happy.

If anyone has a similar or better experience, please let us know.

I painted my Engine cover with the help of hubby, I'm very happy with the result.

Whilst doing it had a conversation and chuckle with my daughter which went like this.........
daughter " what is that thing ? " ( as you can gather she knows not much about cars and isn't interested anyway )
me " it's an engine cover "
daughter " where does it go ? "
me " over the top of the engine "
daughter " it's covered by the hood right ? so why are you painting it, no-one is going to see it ? "
me " I'm personalising it and because I want to "
daughter " Okay " and chuckles....

I actually got blue struts from Stinger 8 store, they are anodised and much lighter in colour so I don't think they look right.
Iv'e asked if I can swap them for the silver ones with the pattern, I think the silver does go ok with the engine cover or black ?

Tinted the tail lights and installed the gloss black Type S spoiler! Poor lighting in the pictures because it's a gloomy day here.

Had a break in the weather so I put on some CF handles

Finally fixed the mess created by backing the front end over a parking lot concrete thing the sensors failed to warn me about. Goes like this...it popped the bumper cover, I fixed that not realizing it had also torn the engine cover loose. In due time, that hit the ground at speed and shredded back several inches, freeing up the wheel well liner, which rode against the tire. So, $400 and a mild pain in the ass later it's all buttoned up again. See photo for "alternate" wheel well configuration.
