How about you Google ceramic coating for cars before you reply like that?
I am a skeptic. I have grave doubts about any product that claims to last more than a few months on a car's surface, other than the clear coat that is sprayed over the paint at the factory. What has sold you on Ceramic coat? Is there credible evidence from independent testing that clearly shows this product is superior in any way to other similar products?

I am always looking for something better, so I will research the merits of this product. I am basing my sarcasm on past experience. I am 73 years old and over the years have spent a lot of money on a variety of different car protection products. Some work better than others. The biggest difference I find is ease of use and how well the product shines. I have watched many video and have even attended a workshop at Meguiar's in Orange County where their products were explained and demonstrated on the participants' BMW roadsters. Of note, my Oxford Green M Roadster was not selected because the paint condition was considered too good to show much contrast, before and after.

Since this was probably 10+ years ago, I suppose there are some new and better products available. Certainly, Meguiar's Ultimate Compound is in that class. I have been so busy trying to get information on the new Stinger, I have not checked into a thread here on detailing our cars, but it is on my "to do" list. My current regime includes cleaning off surface dirt, clay bar with detailing wax spray to remove surface contaminants, Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to remove surface scratches and other paint defects followed by wax as a protective top coat. Provided I avoid tree sap and seagulls, I can keep my cars looking like new with just an occasional detail wax spray. Our cars are kept in the garage as much as possible and our weather in SoCal is mild, so it is not as difficult as in harsher climates.

How did you install it?
After cutting the mesh to size (so it fits in the recessed section) I used a small flat screwdriver & slid it under the liner & then centre it.

Installed the K&N CAI today. Love the sound. Also aligned my headlights up a little bit while I had the filters out.
