Nice pics and a sweet Stinger you have. What wheels are those in your pics and where did ya purchase them. Having a hell of a time deciding on new shoes.
Where did you get the small stinger badge and how, much?
Thx but they don’t ship to Australia.
The part number is OEM Kia. I’m sure you can order it elsewhere.Thx but they don’t ship to Australia.
Thanks man. Those are stance sf07 it was between those and the stance sf03. I also was thinking about some vorsteiner vf-103s. It was hard decision deciding. Took me about 2-3 months of looking around. I got them from josh @GetYourWheels good luck on ur wheels purchase. Lmk what u end up gettingNice pics and a sweet Stinger you have. How does it feels, now that they're on? Only rear or front and back? Finally got my sways fitted, early Xmas present!
Yes but they should not ship from US. If they do its nealry the same price as buying it here, $98The part number is OEM Kia. I’m sure you can order it elsewhere.
Normal feel, less twitchy under pressure, soft setting front and backHow does it feels, now that they're on? Only rear or front and back?
I wonder what is the best upgrade, for cornering stability and agressiveness : Lower springs or front & rear sway bar? Anyone with either one of those mods or possibly both?Normal feel, less twitchy under pressure, soft setting front and back
Not much change if you do both rather than sways alone. Except car is lower which means more kerb hits and a lower cenrte of gravity. Harder ride too with springs.I wonder what is the best upgrade, for cornering stability and agressiveness : Lower springs or front & rear sway bar? Thanks Niko. Looks like I'm narrowing my decisions. Thanks man. Those are stance sf07 it was between those and the stance sf03. I also was thinking about some vorsteiner vf-103s. I put a dent in my alloy wheel too on Tuesday. You should have heard me when I got out to have a look ....I put the wharfies to shame with what words came out of my mouth! Lol. Was coming out of Penrith Plaza carpark and hit the bloody concrete step that separates the two lanes. I didn't even know it was there! I found out the hard way. Have contacted a mobile wheel repairer and they quoted $160 to repair it, but I think I might wait until after Christmas. If I jumped up and got things repaired every time there was a small chip or dent I would be a nervous wreck!Very nice touch @FitR6 looks goooord. I'm having mine done tomorrow also in gloss black. Hopefully It turns out like yours.
What did i do to my Stinger today? Well i added my first curb rash to the passengers front left. Secondly I helped Kia sell a Stinger: on my round of quote visits for my spoiler fit and paint. A smash repair owner got the virtues of owning a stinger along with my sales pitch when he foolishly asked questions about the vehicle. Now people that know me know I like a chat, so an hour later and only at my first quote I left. Kia commision on a snow white pearl gt with red nappa leather please.
Very nice, and special plates for photos!Had the splitter fitted today.View attachment 16784View attachment 16785
Welcome to the club!! I would leave it for the moment but get a fine nail file and carefully go over the sharp edges and it won't look so bad. A couple of months ago I stumbled across a wheel repairer when I was looking for something else and we chatted for over 30min. Almost half his work comes from dissatisfied customers who have used mobile repairers. Typically they just grind and polish the damaged area usually leaving a depression. Some will claim to "fill" the depression but the end result is far from perfect. He claims the only way to do a proper repair is on a lathe by taking a fine layer off the entire rim and then repainting the entire wheel. I saw some examples from mobile guys and the work was really crappy. His price is around $300-$350 per wheel.View attachment 16813
