what wheels and diameter/offset are these sir?Put some new wheels
I like it, it gives me Storm Trooper vibes. It was the first thing that came to mind so I know I'm not the only one that'll say that.Put some new wheels and replaced all 4 brake pads.
end goal is for everything on the outside of the car to either be white or black when im done.I like it, it gives me Storm Trooper vibes. It was the first thing that came to mind so I know I'm not the only one that'll say that.
Now I'd really like to see a two piece color match set up like the older AMG's.
That sucks! ....Could be a broken belt in the tire as well...Hit a giant pothole...thanks NJ. Slight vibration in the steering wheel but no noticeable bubble in tire. Now time to figure out whether wheel is bent or alignment is out.
Yeah not happy...and I didn't think of that. Will take the wheel off tomorrow and check for any damage. Vibration isn't major but the whole point of a sports sedan is it drives smooth. That sucks! ....Could be a broken belt in the tire as well...
Make sure you claim it to your NJ road work department and make them pay for the repair.Hit a giant pothole...thanks NJ. Slight vibration in the steering wheel but no noticeable bubble in tire. Now time to figure out whether wheel is bent or alignment is out.
I don't think an alignment will cause vibration, from my experience. likely bent wheel, or damaged ball joints or something related to those areas ? Hope it's the simplest and cheapest fix.Hit a giant pothole...thanks NJ. Slight vibration in the steering wheel but no noticeable bubble in tire. Just looked at the states website. I would need to include pictures of the pothole. I did this on 78/Turnpike interchange at Newark Airport. No way I could get pics and get out with my life.Make sure you claim it to your NJ road work department and make them pay for the repair.
Took wheel off. Slight bend/flat spot on inside of rim. Bead was still intact and no cracks on wheel. Suspension looked good as well. Took a rubber mallet to it and brought wheel and tire to get rebalanced. Hopefully that handles it.Just looked at the states website. I would need to include pictures of the pothole. you should send them the bill. I believe people sue the city for damage to rims all the time, when it's bad, no ??Took wheel off. Slight bend/flat spot on inside of rim. FYI in NJ you have to prove that state knew about the pothole prior to you hitting it. How could you do that? I will send the bill to the governor just for &giggles anyways.
Looks like I may be lucky. Wheel balanced out pretty decent and no major vibrations up to 50mph. $20 and an hour of my time...plus another hour washing/waxing the wife’s Grand Cherokee to make up for using it so much recently.Took wheel off. Lol, I did the EXACT same thing @ Target. I need to color the hood & deck carbon fiber. Hmmmm. That'll be a hell of a task. HahaFinally found a mini version of my car in the correct color. The Walmart had at least 5 of the same ones.
