Full clean up today! Damn I’ll have to get better stuff to clean her up because it was long and exhausting! Loads of soap/water marks... had to detailed her with a left over bottle of Meguiars ShowRoom stuff from another life lol
Installed the RokBlok slims. Did not have to remove the rear wheels I have an old small craftsman low clearance ratchet. Once you get the screws loose in the rear just use your finger to spin the socket by hand. by the way it wasn’t until I installed these that I realized the air vent behind the wheels are not the same size. I had measure the mesh for the passenger side assuming in was the same on the driver. Nope driver vent is wayyyh bigger.
Not crazy about the large washer and hardware. In addition, the fronts don’t conform as well to the wheel we’ll curve as the backs do. A function of where the factory screw holes are. But in NJ had to put these on for the harsh winter salt sand and brine.

Black looks fantastic for about 20 mins after you wash it. Here’s mine.
How do you deal with the dreaded side view mirror drip? I’ve tried compressed air etc. so annoying
I got a tiny dent in the rear quarter panel. It won't show up in pictures but super annoying. Has anyone tried the hot glue pull methods on the stinger. I'm worried about pulling a chunk of paint off while pulling the dent.

honestly, first bath was super discouraging to me but got so many good compliments so I guess I did an OK job lol
there was dripping, water/soap marks everywhere... had to take the microfibre route with the maguires showroom detailler to get a better finish... maybe that’s hard water or something...
I get her ceramic coating in 10 days and will see with my guy what I should know that I do not do now to keep her clean easier LOL

I just have a collection of microfiber drying towels. Cheap, worth it to have more than one, just in case you drop one. Our detailers at our dealership have a little air compressor to blow water from behind the mirror. You don't want to use too much pressure of course though

Got my BMS intercooler installed and the install was mostly easy to do. I only had 2 issues. The main one I had was with the hose clamps being a real pain to use (the nut that screws on to hold them) so I just swapped some with my own and instantly 100x easier. The second being that if you have the front radar once you put hangers on top there is a third bolt that no longer lines up. Shouldn't be much of an issue but unfortunate part of the design.
I saw someone say that the BMS intercooler is 1/3rd behind the crash bar which isn't true. It extends about half the crash bar.
Had to do a double take here - you put a 245/35 on a 9" wide rim. The stock 8.5" rim has a 255/35.
Are you going for a mild stance look here with the stretched sidewalls? Combined with the wheels it definitely makes for a unique set up. The two tone is pretty legit.
