What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

The trouble is that you have to rinse with hard water. And I try to only wash rinse when it's cooler/not sunny, and still spots if not mopped dry immediately. The touchless car wash nearby uses a filtered/reused water (mandated?) approach for their "spot free rinse" which is better, but costs ~$10 for the least feature-rich wash...If I had a still I could make my own...and bourbon while I'm at it!

You are supposed to finish up with the deionized water if you want to make the filter last long and wash with regular so that you can avoid spots.. our water is only around the 180-200 ppm before filter and the deionizer brings it down to 00ppm-2ppm . I go ahead and do the whole wash and rinse with the filter and it is spotless!! i got griots 37201.

Distilled water and just about any good ph neutral soap will do the trick. I like Meguiars Gold Class. Lots of spotless soaps I believe RainX makes a good one as well. I don’t use any soaps that have wax in them (wash and wax) as I top after. Use a leaf blower to rid the water in the seams, door handles, grilles, mirrors, etc.

Don’t know if it helps. I put it on mine and it doesn’t avoid the drop marks. It should go away once dry. However 303 is a good product to protect rubber and trim. Has UV blockers

They are replacements, the black ones pop off with a trim tool, clip these in, job done.

And here I've been thinking that the black was just waiting for these aftermarket handle cup inserts. I didn't know you had to pop black ones out. I wonder if that explains the complaints about them not fitting right. Are some people trying to tape the new ones on top of the OE inserts, not knowing?

I used a small flat screwdriver to pop the original off, easy to do.

I can see someone thinking the new go over the old. Once popped off the new go in real easy
I did all 4 doors.

Updated the infotainment system on my 2018 Stinger GT Limited to the latest version, via the Update.Kia.com site. Took a while but it works fine and the new features and look are nice.

Got the Wagner kit on. Above about 4k and especially in 3rd or higher gears...she goes. Nothing groundbreaking but the top end is most certainly improved with slightly better low-end throttle response. We'll see how it does on a longer drive in the heat tomorrow. My only gripe? F&#cking Rivnuts. WHY.

Worked with Rob at B&C detailing in Swoyersville, PA for a full paint correction and Gtechniq ceramic Crystal Serum and Exo coatings with Graphine on all the glass.
Used some Adams products that really impressed me. I’m ordering that foam canon, shampoo and iron remover this weekend; Labor Day sale.
We had some extra help in the shop too.
