Maybe I'll start a trend. "The closer to stock the better" People are like sheep. One goes over the cliff the rest follow.
I think those who bought a Stinger are the exact opposite of sheep. We tend to be out of the box type of people who want something different than what we see everyday. I could have bought an S5 or a Bimmer but I wanted something different and seeing the owners of those cars leering at the Stinger brings me great joy lol. If people want to pay 30k more for a
badge and a car that's mayyybe 10% better than a Stinger then that's on them. Talk about Baaaaaaaaaa

. I changed out my
badges because I didn't like the way the KIA logo looked on the car. IMO a Stinger is one of the sexiest cars on the road with (sorry everyone)one of the lamest, plain Jane logos out there. Didn't work for me. No hate here if you like it but I did not.
As far as the
mods go, from my perspective, I think people add them to personalize their car and make it different from other Stingers out there. My car has "me" written all over it and is noticeably different from stock. I've seen several Stingers in the wild and none of them were modded as far as I could tell so mine IS the different one. Yes, many people on here changed out the
badges for whatever reason but this forum is only a small sample of Stinger owners and 95% of people won't change a thing. To each his own. My car looked great when I picked it up from the dealership, and now with the aesthetic
mods it looks AMAZING imo. I mean if you wanna put new rims on your car, do you do it because YOU like it or because everyone else is doing it? You do it because YOU like it. Do whatever you want..it's your constitutional right

As far as the exhaust goes, I knew the moment I drove the car it needed an exhaust, some personality. I don't know if you've heard a Stinger with a proper exhaust/intake set up IN PERSON but done properly they sound great and is a vast improvement over stock imo. Is the sound as good as a throaty V8..of course not but mine doesn't sound "buzzy" or tinny and in fact it has become one of my favorite aspects of driving the car. It gurgles and pops when I downshift and growls when I get on it. Hearing those intakes sucking in air and the turbos spooling up...MAN it sounds great! No rice here lol. But if it's not your thing so be it and if your happy with your set up then awesome! I commend you on buying a great, out of the box car and not following the "sheep off the cliff" Cheers
