Huda, dare I ask how much this costs by you? ($ conversion?) Are you doing some or all PPF? Also the ceramic tint will so help with heat. I’m noticing it on mine, did not do the windshield, that the car is definitely not oppressive when parked outside in the sun.

Hey buddy, regarding the costing and prices, I've wrote a post a a few weeks back. I'll quoted below. You can also check it for the nano coating.

- Nano-Tech window sun protection Film. Because You no how hot is is here ! (Tinted windows). 395$ (After 25% discount) - 10 Years Warranty.
- Front Protection Film. Because I travel a lot on the road. (Only on hood, mirrors, front windshield sliders, full front and side bumper) 645$ (After 25% discount) - 5 Years Warranty + Plus every 6 months free check-up.

Thanks Salman! I forgot about that post. I had similar on the tint $300 with Rayno film not on the windshield, I wound up redoing the hatch, it was 5% and just too dark. As for the PPF I did full hood, bumper and mirrors for $1100 for Xpel CB, you got a steal IMHO. Well done! Consider doing ceramic coating on the entire car too, gotta protect the paint! Ha! I had a local detailer do it, not the fancy multi day process, just wanted a good job by a regular guy, $200 (C.Quartz). Some want 2-3000!!! Nuts to that.

Oh and, no crazy driving. Just regular and the car sat most of yesterday.

I bought 5 Rim Ringz (one spare) and the 4 that were installed lasted about 50 yards and looked just like your picture (all of them). I lost 20% restocking fee.

Don't let me start on the sand storms.. it's almost everyday nowadays. At some point we just got used to it to the extent that we do not know how to breath when its a clear sunny sky day. We only know how to breath in the dust. Lol.

The PPF was $645 because it was not self healing. The did nit have it. But I asked another detailed you may have heard of "Modesta" they had self healing but was $1,600. It was a bit much for me. Almost triple the price !

Btw, I did not put PPT on my side mirrors nor black chrome finishes around the grill and even the fake vents.

They told it will not be under warranty, because when pealing the PPF off, the black chrome, it may peal.off with it. Thus I did not put it.

Any thoughts if they are right? They told me that the had a couple of incidents. Thus it's not covered by the warranty.

I lucked out. I bought on Ebay with a coupon. I personally returned them to a home in Hollywood that is one of the owner’s home. I got credited back the actual purchase price from eBay. So that difference helps with my labor charges from the tire store that installed them. I figure I’m out about $30 or so for the rest of the labor and tips for the installers.
Those gator rings are $300 installed. Ouch. I’m debating what to do next. Mostly just drive carefully.

Yes, Xpel is self healing, I feel better, 10 year warranty too. I keep getting things with ten year warranties! In US Kia is a 10 year warranty. (Not bumper to bumper) I think the world is 7 years?

I did the mirrors and caps. They said it’s no issue, he was only worried what it would look like. Grabbed a scrap and spray bottle and squeegee and tested it. Looked great and I booked my install. It looks like nothing, essentially. If it does eventually damage the cap, they’re relatively cheap on eBay.

Xpel to fit to front bumper is $1200 AUD. Whole car would set you back nearly $4000 AUD.
Window tint is about the same price as you.

That agrees with what the body shop said to me about not putting PPF on black chrome. My mirrors are not covered either (or the other parts you mention).

You would need to be very careful with heat gun. There is two holes behind the emblem. If not used, try fishing line. Make Sure YOU PULL IT TOWARDS YOU!
