Well in our case, the radio station frequency in which the issue was present, took down the HD signal and that solved the problem. A couple of days later the HD frequency was back and the issue was gone. So they must have had something changed in the way they transmitted the signal. What ever it was it was not being processed correctly by the radio.
If you can give the radio station a call and describe the issue, they probably have had other listeners with the same problem.
So I just updated my Navigation software to the V13.5 and it seems to have solved the problem (knock on wood) with my UVO resetting itself. With the new NAV software installed, all of my other SW and FW versions were updated to the following versions
SW Ver.: CK19.USA.SOP.V108.190720.STD_H
Firmware Ver.: CK19.USA.292.190613.MICOM.D
Nav App Ver.: DAP.NAM.KMC.190613.755e5d54
Map Ver: NAM.12.47.44.510.105.4
Old version that had the UVO reset problem was:
SW Ver.: CK19.USA.SOP.V099.180806.STD_H
Firmware Ver.: CK19.USA.286.180612.MICOM.D
Nav App Ver.: DAP.NAM.KMC.180725.f0e3f7ca
Map Ver: NAM.11.47.44.465.105.2
