I'm pumped about this! What I really want, though, is the ability to flash at home instead of having to send out my ECU. I want to flash between maps/options whenever I want. If Tork is able to do that, complete with all the features of their ECU flash and backend flash, I'd be all over it.

More aggressive shifting and better throttle response? They really need a better mode than just "Comfort". Feels like I need to slam on it to make it move in this mode.

Pedal commander and those of the sort are pretty simple to install and they don't create a "...backside of my entertainment center" look. Actually the best part about them is that you can control the pedal feel for all types of driving on the fly.
I'm already using jb4 with tork tune but with the full tune not the back end flash. So I'm limited to map6 and iat spoofing.
I'm able to squeeze out a little extra here and there.
$600 for the hardware and software to flash via OBDII port, complete with a full selection of tunes, and even the ability to datalog, extremely easy install. Can flash back to OEM whenever needed, or even switch maps whenever you want. Hard to beat something like that, so whomever comes out with something like this first for the Stinger/G70 will have a product that's nearly impossible to beat.

Obd encryption will be a long way away. Standalone ecu you can map out different "maps" and assign them to the driver modes.
Not sure why you say difficult? This is actually fairly easy and has been done on plenty of platforms that want to push things to way past the boundaries.
@Toddasaurus - if Tork COULD do this today, don't you think they would be? I'm sure Tork would love to become the major player for Stingers instead of Terry. But, as DaBears said - from all indications, hints from various tuners who have given up, etc, RELIABLE at-home flashing for the Stinger with non-specialized tools (i.e. obd-to-usb cable + laptop) is still quite some time away, maybe never.
Sounds like home flashing is very close. You do need to send in the ecu to un lock then can flash yourself from a pc to the ecu via harness not obd i believe. Weeks or months not years away.
