Drag/Acceleration The Official 1/4 mile track thread.

So to keep the list and informational as possible, we should all include if the wire was cut. This will help the other racers. Also, in the event someone gets a great time with the wire intact, we should know that.

By law they are required to list BMS in their signature and timeslip posts if they've cut the wire. ;)

I agree that is the only reason tork tune was faster, now the playing field is level. I no longer see an advantage with the tork tune. If tonka does this mod we all will be leaving at 3k rpms. The advantage is gone.
Looks like their is more to the Tork tune than the 60 foot. You just beat my 60 by .06 with the BMS brake snip and had a higher trap but still .09 slower.

Tell that to the guy( not me) that just smashed the record. Not to mention I'm running on 20s, 245 285. If I put your rims on my car its lights out.

vertini 1.2 20s with ps4s. Might need to throw the 18s back on.

Ah forgot about those damn 20s... 18s for sure! And some E30 for good measure! :)
 
Get Stung moves from #6 to #4 with the BMS brake snip. Tork takes back the fastest 1/4 mile trap (tied to the fastest 1/4 mile ET - bests are bolded)

Looks like those midpipes & DPs do actually help run faster 1/4ms:thumbup:

Guess FBO with meth & e30 is the winning combo, and the BMS brake switch of course:D

Well we know someone that won’t give Lap3, midpipes or WMI credit since it was the BMS brake switch that gets all the credit:rofl:

20s are killing you. 18s are going to really let you sail. Just be more careful not to spin as much. Are they all seasons? I need to get rid of these 19s.
 
Is there a way of doing this brake snip without dealer knowing and voiding warranty?
