Went to IFO, tried to run a higher tire pressure than last time. Spun hard. Hit 13.2. Then a civic track car oiled down the entire track for an hour plus clean up. I left.

I should be an author. :)

I'm racing. Last year Tork and I both made it to the final 8 and I red lighted by .001 The Evo I raced missed a shift and ran 1.5 seconds over his time. Hard to wait when they get a head start!

Yeah, I won at the one at ATCO. Sadly, it was raining so we couldn't race. What bracket do you enter?

I'll clean my car incase our race turns into a car show but the weather is looking good, but in the 70s.
I can't recall what classes they run at IFO so ill let you know on Sunday.

Cood luck man. You really should have john slap a little 50 shot in that bad boy and tune for it :) i think with how small that shot is you may only need some minor adjustments. Could probably win the IFO

If its bracket racing, he doesn’t need more power; it’s about launching well and having a consistent runtime.

Slightly off topic but here is a 0-100 in my car. This run had lots of slope 1/8th mile 7.6@96 and I also did a flat 7.7@94 but the video on the latter didn't save.
This is with spare out so its nice and loud. But the main purpose is to show the 2450 RPM launch and the shift speed.

Did the ebrake trick work or is your LC setting adjusted from Tork?
 
Slightly off topic but here is a 0-100 in my car. This run had lots of slope 1/8th mile 7.6@96 and I also did a flat 7.7@94 but the video on the latter didn't save.

Lol, I read 4450 and got super excited. Still pretty delayed off the line even with the higher launch at 2450 - the car doesn't really even start going fast until after 10mph.

Yeah I still don't get full throttle till about 10-12 MPH. You can hear it rip when it hits 10. On the street these tires can certainly handle more throttle sooner but probably not that much. Others with slower 60 foots are starting to get some wheel spin. On the track I think I could handle quite a bit more.

Yup. Wheel spin and the resulting throttle cut is a big issue for some of us.

Man that sounds mean. You have been launching at that RPM since you got the stage 2 beta at the beginning of the year right? Or is this new/increased RPM threshold?

I've been launching like this for a long time. Not sure if the Stage 1 launched like this. I don't think I started logging or paying that much attention until I got on Stage 2 beta.
Pulling the spare tire and covers certainly changes the sound profile.

Dude i would never put that spare back in lol. Get you a fixaflat can and leave it be. This maybe the meanest sounding cabin ive heard in our cars so far. Congrats!
