I've searched but was unable to find any threads on this, evidently, new product.

SXTH Element is coming out with primary downpipes for the 3.3 Stinger and G70. The price is nice. I want to post a link, but I am unable to because I'm still a noob on this site.

I've been trying to get in touch with them about the possibility of getting a set with HFC's, but they haven't answered any of my emails. Anybody here heard anything?

I apologise if this has already been covered.

This is new as far as I know. Looks like they ported the flanges to the turbos to match the turbine outlet, too.

Catless primary downpipes are causing oil to seep out of the turbos, be warned.

Sounds like another reason for an HFC version!

Is that what the verdict was for the GT with the vanishing oil/coolant?

I received a reply from them concerning this. They are currently looking into it as they've received a few requests. They are trying to source the proper cats so it will be a "few weeks" before they will have any pricing on the HFC downpipes.

Those look good. A HFC option is definitely a big plus.

Just got the same reply from them. Hopefully they're able to make it work! Fingers crossed.

I barely installed my primaries downpipes and I noticed on heavy load a lot of smoke comes out of exhaust. Especially when I’m running e30 mix. A lot more smoke from the engine bay and the exhaust tips. Plus my exhaust tips they turn black real quick.

Is this do to the oil seeping out to the turbos?

Depends. What are you using for tuning? Could be running crazy rich, but chances are if you're seeing smoke it's most likely from coolant, oil, or both.

Best check your fluid levels ASAP so you don't end up like that other guy. Lol.

What colour is the smoke?

Brown/black smoke will generally be over-fuelling.

White/blue smoke will generally be oil.

Don't check when the car is cold, as steam can look like oil smoke until the engine and exhaust system have warmed up and all residual moisture has evaporated.

Running jb4 I checked the afr on the app. Looks good. I just did an oil change oil looks good no signs of coolant/water in it.

When I drive regular it’s fine no smoke which is weird only on full throttle.

It’s white smoke, I’m catless all the way! Only happens on full throttle. Do u think it can be fumes that are supposed to be caught by the cats

The cats are there largely to collect and convert invisible gases like CO and NOx into less harmful things like CO2 and H2O.

White smoke is almost certainly oil. It will be happening at full throttle because that's when the turbos are working hardest, and thus where oil seepage is most likely.

AFRs at full throttle will be pretty rich in general (to protect from lean burn which kills petrol/gasoline engines dead). So some smoke (brown/black) at full throttle isn't a big concern.

.......white smoke is usually coolant... Generally, oil will have a blue tinge to it.

How long have you driven it after the downpipes installed?

Do you have your JB4's fuel wires installed? If so, you shouldn't be any richer than prior to your downpipes and midpipes. Should be keeping it at ~11.7:1 AFR.

Again, check those fluids. Any 'milk shake' in the oil? Coolant okay? It is very possible you're blowing coolant and/or oil passed your shaft seals in the turbo.

Like mentioned above, the cats are gonna convert unseen gasses. Shouldn't make any different in smoke.

Don't go completely catless. Got it.

So it sounds like going catless on the stinger is a no no i haven't heard anything good from going catless or even any power gains but if anyone has please share especially you tube videos if any

Ive been catless for nearly year and half now
I was also the test car for the SXTH pipes

Catless will lead to oil seepage from the turbos seals but so far i just fill some oil every so often

But what about power have you had it dyno before and after or can you even tell the difference from your butt dyno and if so is it a big difference or marginal at best?
