Still waiting in AZ also. There was an GT2 AWD drive one here on cars.com that lasted about 10 days. My dealer was supposed to get a GT2 RWD today but have not heard back from them on that yet.

What option(s) do you think it add or deleted? As far as we know it just has that "Limited" badge and yellow paint. No reports of them adding the 360 cam or wireless charging back in.

Early on articles stated it would have a different combination of options that differ from the standard models but I have not heard of any real differences. I was expecting some different options on the gt1 but besides the paint I’m not sure there is anything different yet on mine.

I’m happy with the unique paint as I don’t want to see any others in yellow on the road near me.

As far as I know there are no Yellow GT1's in America, just Base GT and GT2. Although I believe the Base GT in RWD does come with the limited slip differential from the GT2, which is a nice upgrade.

My understanding is there are 3 models.
Gt awd
Gt rwd with lsd
Gt2

I also understand the gt versions were distributed based on regional needs for awd and rwd (with and without snow). I have no clue how the distributed the gt2. I would of bought the gt2 if available in my region but they were not available and I jumped on the first one I could which was the awd gt

I had heard there are four models, Base GT and GT2, both in RWD and AWD, although I'd love to hear something definite either way. I know two dealers near me both got AWD GT's, which is pretty debatable whether the D.C. region needs AWD. For the small amount of snow we usually get you certainly don't NEED it, but for the way the idiot drivers in this area react when driving on even half an inch of snow maybe we do!

Edit: Confirmed, I see an AWD GT2 in Muncie, Indiana.

You might be right in 4 models but I have only heard 3 confirmed so far but it is early in the release and delivery of them. It would also be great to hear how many of each version were produced. I’m guessing 100 of each if they made 4 versions. That actually kinda makes me feel like mine is rarer than the 1 of 400

Yeah I asked that earlier maybe in another thread, but I don't think anyone outside of Kia has that information right now. Kia's distribution of the different colors and trims really has me scratching my head. There are two AWD Base GT Sunset Yellow's coming to within 10 minutes of me this week, but if I want my backup, a RWD Red GT1, I'd have to drive 490 miles to find the nearest one according to cars.com.

Going to see a Yellow GT2 RWD this evening...delivered to dealer just today. As far as i know, only the Color and Vent Badge are different when compared to a "normal" GT2 RWD. Will report back if i find anything contrary to that.

If by some snowballs chance it has additional features like 360 cam and alcantara headliner, to truly earn the limited distinction, there is not much stopping from driving it home this evening.

youKiainsider just posted a thread that his dealership just got their base GT awd. I'm seeing a lot of those and I'm getting the impression that out of the 400 units that's the most common configuration. Really wish Kia would release numbers on that.

I have a sunset yellow, awd stinger. It has the 19" Michelin pilot super sports.

I will sell it for msrp. No additional mark up.

Ugh, dealership near me finally got their RWD GT2 in tonight but now the salesman says the manager won't budge from MSRP for that one. I thought they would since their AWD GT lists $900 off on their website. They're also expecting in a RWD GT. My question is what dealerships did they stab in the back to acquire three different Limiteds? Maybe it's some chain that got access to several and decided to move them all to the dealership in the most populated area or something? I guess now I'm torn between a Yellow GT and finding a Red GT1.
