As far as I know there are no Yellow GT1's in America, just Base GT and GT2. Although I believe the Base GT in RWD does come with the limited slip differential from the GT2, which is a nice upgrade.

That is correct! I just got mine . I get all the performance of the GT2 (minus the wire shifter), and no sunroof (which I don't care for anyway).

Hate to rain on sunset yellow parade but you can get that colour really easy in Australia as no one seems to like the yellow. No limited badge in fender though but you can get them on eBay. It was a yellow demo I test drove before I bought mine (Snow White pearl).

I don't know what things are like in Australia but the USA is stuck in a loop where people think the resale value is higher on boring colors so manufacturers only send us boring colors to buy. 74% of new cars are either white, black, grey or silver. Which means bland as hell beige is actually interesting on our roads. My Optima I got in blue, the Stinger in yellow, and I don't ever intend on going back to monochrome cars.

I’m in the United States and what is available here is different than other countries. My taste requires a different color than others can easily get so I choose the yellow option. I love the color so no regrets.

Well, I was looking for the Sunset Yellow discussion in the paint color section, but it looks like Sal got rid of the color "section" and they're all spread around in exterior discussion. So since they aren't easily browsable anymore and we were specifically talking about not enough colorful cars in America, I'll paste this here. At least there are two other people in my office park with colorful cars.
