My buddy just tied the current stock turbo WHP record and smashed the WTQ record without using WMI.:D

He has the lap3V2, intakes and catless exhaust. He made ~380whp from just the bolt-ons before so the piggyback added about 100whp+ on a custom “kill mode” map. Congrats to @blueberry_gt(IG) and good to see our Stingers just getting better & better.

I'm going to need a full list of his specifications. What type of fuel? Brand of intakes? Brand of exhaust? What does the "kill mode" map include/change? Is the Stinger AWD or RWD?

Thanks!

That's a lot of torque!

Mobil 93 and 5g of e85. K&N intakes, lap3 primary DPs & SSR secondary DPs with a custom catback exhaust.

Just keep in mind the brand of intakes, DPs & exhaust won’t make a difference and all produce almost exactly the same gains.

He just manually put in boost per rpm to maximize power. Piggybacks give that ability in custom user settings but it doesn’t really change much else. And he is a 2018 RWD Stinger so torque is a little higher than 2019s but whp should be about the same.

Ethanol (and octane) makes a huge power difference. I've done that on other cars in the past with astonishing results.

Thanks! I have a JB4 with bluetooth so I can technically change the boost per rpm? Do you happen to know what he has it set to? Did he also have to do any sort of fuel tuning on the Stinger itself so it'd be compatible with E30?

Yes map6 allows for custom boost per rpm. Under “User Adjustment Settings” you can put in the amount of additional boost in 500rpm intervals.

No sorry, not sure what custom boost he is using. Only thing he said was that it was high and was not a daily driving map. Unfortunately he was getting detonation at the end of the second run so I’m guessing he was in the 20-25psi range.

No our Stingers will run up to e30 all day and some tuners have maxed power using e50 but that’s not for daily driving.

Okay, thank you so much for the explanation! I'm at about 17PSI on MAP 2 and 91 Octane and it's very good for daily drive. I appreciate your time!

I don’t know where you’re getting detonation?

Not on that run. The original image you posted on IG showed two runs and the one with 574wtq shows the detonation and power loss.
Gotta stop with the false information
Please don’t take offense and nothing personal. I simply attached the image from your IG post. I actually didn’t even notice the detonation until Kagantuned pointed it out. It’s not a big deal you were simply running too much boost & timing, but that’s expected on a max power “kill mode” map you were testing. Either way you still are the record holder for the most powerful non WMI Stinger!

No needs for emotional comments, guys.

Nice dyno results nonetheless.
Are these numbers PS or HP?

I thought he said he had meth on fb

Lol I agree but think passionate is a better description.;)

Yes very impressive results, and these dynos are measured in WHP.

He used to have WMI but for some reason he kept having trouble with it and sold it.

This dyno was without WMI and he just used an e30 tune.

I am not asking if its measured at the wheels or at the crank. I am asking if its imperial or metric horsepower.
Just need to see the Y axis on the dyno.

I understand and why I said HP. And this dyno was in the USA so we use stupid imperial measurements. It also shows both the X & Y axis on the smaller thumbnail image blueberry posted.

Ok!

Using stock IC?

Lets see the AFR graph.
