Stinger just crushed the stock turbo record and made 490whp/574wtq on e30 without WMI

Oh ya. But when compared to the stock tires in the size I have it wasn’t to much more. I think I paid 361 per tire R888r was about 426 I think but worth the price difference to me so those will probably be the next tires I get. Unless I decide to buy some spare rear wheels in 18” and run some real radials
Do you have them on 19 or 20?

No, it's cheaper than a Mustang dyno not more accurate and/or standardized. That's why it's popular.
I agree it’s cheaper and that’s one reason they are more popular, however dynojets are inertia dynos and the resistance cannot be altered and adjusted like you’re suggesting.

The bad reputation of people manipulating dyno results comes from Mustang or Mainline style dynos(load bearing) which have a power absorber to allow the load to be adjusted. These are more accurate when it comes to real world power ratings and gauging the power increases for different tunes/mods on the same car.

However, the “accuracy” I was referring to was comparisons between different cars and/or different environments. Since the roller mass is fixed and the load cannot be adjusted, dynojets results are much more accurate when comparing a variety of cars across the world.

All I’m saying is that the limiting of variables and standardization of the settings is why using a dynojet is the best way to compare power results from different cars.

Hi guys. New here and also from Korea. I've actually seen this stinger... and from I saw, it's on a Unichip + tune, full bolt ons and wmi. Apparently there's a huge controversy right now in Korea because of the fact that no one is sharing the dyno and tune infos, and it's a he said she said thing. But for sure this car is fast.. I make 450whp and from a roll he left me like I was standing still.
Lol. No offense but that sound like another made up number without any proof. Unless they’re running NOS like Tork there is no way they are adding another 100whp using the same mods as people with ~490whp... If you want anyone to believe those results please back up your numbers with evidence otherwise everyone will always question what you say going forward.

I feel sorry for you. That’s the lowest baseline I’ve ever seen for our Stingers and you likely underpowered compared to everyone else. Either that or your “about” 313 run had some serious heat soak and/or inexperienced dyno operators.

Like I said his baseline was “about” 325 which is right on point and on the low side for our Stingers. Even very conservatively he still gained around 150whp on motor only without any temporary power adders like NOS.;)

I admit 650whp with NOS is impressive for stock turbos, but we all know almost 200whp just came from the bottle. That’s why NOS is called “HP in a bottle” and a lot of people consider it cheating, but there is no denying it’s power gains.

Whoops.. quoted the wrong one. Meant to quote the one regarding the 593whp stinger here in Korea.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Nice! Sounds crazy fast! Thanks for chiming in. It's cool to have Korean car enthusiasts joining us.

Does he have upgraded turbos?

That's the co controversy in Korea. From what the owner says, he is on stock turbos.
