Nope. I got fooled on that as wellWell, I acknowledge that Kia's web site sucks on details--but it does show that their UVO Plus and Ultimate packages include remote start.
Does the Stinger not support any of that?
Ah. No doubt the advanced UVO services will be a "2022/facelift/we'll never see it" thing.Nope. I got fooled on that as well

WOW that works! no need to carry the second remote start fob. Thanks for the info!Your car may have the factory remote start already installed. To try to see if it does, from outside the car use your remote and press and release the lock button, then within a couple seconds press and release either the trunk release or the horn button (no long presses). After a couple seconds the lights should blink, mirrors will fold out, and the engine will start.
Color me confused. Why is that a problem? But still will probably not use. It still shuts off once the door is opened.
Just a comment, since using the remote to start it shuts off with the door opened, so doing it this other way it acts the same.Color me confused. Why is that a problem?
It'd be nice if you didn't have to restart the car. Ford's factory remote start (at least the ones with push button start) allows you to get in and drive. You push the brake and hit the push start button and away you go. In addition, if there is automatic climate control, the car will set the cabin temperature dependent upon the outside temperature (i.e. A/C if hot outside).Color me confused. Why is that a problem?
Yes. Drone mobile. Phone app, don’t have to restart car. It'd be nice if you didn't have to restart the car. I really wish the Stinger had the remote app available. I've wondered if there is a way to add a factory cell connection but haven't been able to find information on it.
Thanks! I just found another thread on that after I made my post (guess my prior search was terrible).Yes. Drone mobile. Phone app, don’t have to restart car.
It’s installed I’m my stinger and it’s fantastic. Everything I wanted.. no extra fob, no distance restrictions, and car doesn’t shut off when door is opened. Only drawback is the whole thing installed, with three years of service, cost me right around 600 bucks! Had to have it thoThanks! I went to the Drone Mobile website (How to Buy DroneMobile | DroneMobile) and the Stinger isn't one of the listed compatible models.
That being said, it looks like a lot of others have had this installed so the fact that the Stinger isn't on the website was/is confusing to me.
Did you install it yourself? Does it matter if you have the factory remote start already? I love the idea of no fob and just using my phone. If you had someone install it, I'll look around for some shops in my area of course. It’s installed I’m my stinger and it’s fantastic.
