So ive had this harness on for a few days now and i figured id give my findings. I will say i am happy with what ive noticed.
Please also note that i have a 2.0
My mod list pertaining to performance :
K&N cai, Lap3 Unclechip on 93oct setting,
hks plugs, BMS intercooler and a BMS pedal tuner. VT snorkles.
What ive noticed so far in my daily commutes. Roughly 60 miles round trip with a mix of highway and city.
Definitely a better throttle response. Where my car would "lag" at low speeds, for example traffic circles, very minimal effort to get going. Im not a heavy foot of the line at lights either but with my normal driving it definitely takes off quicker. I dont have a way to create any logs with my tuner or have a dragy so its all feel for me. I wouldn't be able to tell you if there was a power bump but without a doubt it down shifts and goes with no concern. My daily is usually in comfort so thats where my "testing" has stayed for the most part.
Now in sport there was definitely a little more throw you in the
seat feel. Ive had my tuner on the car for several years so again i know exactly how my car reacts. It definitely helped in rolling take offs, 30 and up. On the highway either in comfort or sport the car is smooth as hell with no complaints.
I get that there is alot of "backlash" on how the harness does and wont make a difference. I believe that it needs to be used to figure out for oneself if it works on their individual car or not. For example 1 car may make 500hp with the same bolt ons as another that makes 450. Hopefully that made sense.
For me there has been a noticeable difference in how my car runs and reacts to my driving. And im happy with the results to this point. As time moves on if things change i will share those results as well.
