3.3TT Quicksilver Exhaust Systems

Can they be slid further in on the tips? I would prefer not to stick out of the bumper much. I have the scar on my leg from other aftermarket exhausts that stuck out, so now I'm a bit picky!

Yeah the oval ones can be aligned exactly the same as the stock tips.

Is the group buy/discount still going on? I've got the AWD and looking at jumping in on the system, and probably secondaries whenever they come out for AWD.

Anybody have an update on the preorder for the Super Sport cat back?

So working nights leads me to say screw it and stop waffling, went ahead and pre-ordered, the shipping promo code is still active. Super excited for this when it gets here!

Only thing stopping me from getting this is the fitment issues. I'm the anal type that does not want to do any type of modifications to have an exhaust fit like it should. If it is not plug and play, I'm out.

We'll let you know how it goes, I wasn't missing it for something an exhaust shop could spend 10 minutes on correcting though.

Fitment issues can be an issue for some and it cost me a bit to get it corrected but with the sale price of this exhaust it was still about as expensive as other systems. I am in love with the sound as it has just enough loudness with a great tone. I believe the next systems should be even better with options people would want.

Should have zero issues this time.

@twn2rbo any news on the valved exhaust? Is there any potential for a launch with a good price? I'd be willing to be their European based test subject also if needed :) ...

Awaiting pricing if they want to go ahead and do it
Are you close to Surrey?

Anyone in the UK interested in having their car be the test model?

Also a strong possibility that they will have an option for the carbon tips

I know there OP was for April but checking if the link to the QS site is down due to being Out of Stock or between product generations. New to the site and starting to research mods. Found the mid pipes but not the cat-back. Is it my user error or did I just miss a production run?

They sold out of the gen 1 exhausts and are developing a gen 2 "Super Sport" exhaust that fixes some fitment issues and raises the volume a bit. If you're not in a rush to fit a new exhaust then you can put in for a preorder but for now only the midpipes are available.

What they said ^^^^^^^^^^^

Let me ask this, how many are actually serious about getting the new system ? And I mean not just kicking it around, in the market ready to purchase?
Because if that is the case maybe I can convince the owner to pony up and start production before the needed amount. If people say yes and back out, guess who is left holding the empty cookie jar? Me, and I look like a gd fool
So honestly, who is seriously looking into this. Because the fitment issues of the past should not be a factor. Since that was well documented with them, and thats the reason for the new retool and v2

The original system was designed awhile ago, and at the time, I guess the angle of the tailpipes slipped through the cracks and became a design flaw, that we all found

My personal thoughts are, I am glad that I made contact with Quicksilver ,and the owner was gracious enough to be very agreeable on dropping the price, then offering the free shipping for the month. Then is designing a new improved system with fitment and sound, specifically because of our wants and needs, and our feedback. At the same price, sans shipping, which once shipped, on your door in two days. I am hype

I'm in, too.
