When I let off and got down to around 80 mph it felt like I was moving in slow motion and at 60 my perception was completely broken and I kept looking at my speedometer because it felt like I was doing 25 mph. What an unbelievable feeling.

The car was amazingly stable and you could feel that it wanted to give more. I could have gone beyond 150 easily. I love this car so much. :)

You was in Mexico right ? ;)

Gotta love the Stinger and mexico

I hear 495 is nice and open around 1am. Nice big race track. Sometimes you’ll even get some flashing competition.

how quickly would you say it went from 100 to 150?

That’s totally irresponsible of you......you should have kept going to the max. then we would all know what this thing is capable of....;)

I know, I know, but I wanted to save some for later and also have the speed option turned on on my dashcam. So, next time. Lol

We're both MD/DC guys but the only time I've hit 150mph in my life was a long straightaway over in the Appalachian mountains. Like you I wouldn't go admitting any details in public here but I'm super curious what area around here you felt comfortable going that fast on. Was it completely straight and level or was there any curve or elevation change to it? If you theoretically had video would it be just of the spedometer or is it showing the road?

Are you going to be at the Stinger event at FedEx field this weekend?

Video is out my front window. I was on Rt. 29 North between Burtonsville and Columbia. The road where I got the speed had a couple hills was straight for the most part. Rt. 29 is the only place I've ever felt comfortable driving that fast. Just because it's pretty straight between the Montgomery County line and Rt.70. There's also very few other cars traveling in the middle of the night (2AM) which is the only time I'd drive that fast. I did 150 in my GTO on that same stretch 10years ago. The ICC might be another option as well. It's deserted out there after midnight and pretty straight between Rt. 29 and I-95.

I had planned on going to Fed-Ex Field Saturday but something else came up and I won't make it. Might head over there on Sunday afternoon though.

Well I'll be there Sunday at 11 if you want to show me the video on your cell phone. I definitely opened up a little on the ICC when it first opened for the trial week before you needed an ezpass and the cops were always parked on it. Nowadays I always see police so that's strictly within 9 of the limit for me.
