Pushed my Stinger up to 150 mph last night

Well I'll be there Sunday at 11 if you want to show me the video on your cell phone. I definitely opened up a little on the ICC when it first opened for the trial week before you needed an ezpass and the cops were always parked on it. Nowadays I always see police so that's strictly within 9 of the limit for me.

I work nights so I wont get over there until mid afternoon if at all. The ICC is patrolled by Md Transportation Authourity Police and they clear out late evenings. So the times that I'm out there (after midnight), there's usually no cops around. Check your PM.

There are enough lanes there that hopefully you'd see any deer quite a ways off, but deer are an unpredictable hazard and should be taken quite seriously. Anyone who wants to speed and thinks no cars being around makes it safe, think again. Those deer are suicidal s.o.b.'s. I killed one with my Optima only doing about 35-40 after braking before impact. About 5k of damage and no one injured, but at 150 that deer is going through the glass into your face.

Thanx Kia for not telling me, so my Stinger will be electronically limited to 170mph or 273kph here in Australia.

Update... 157 mph on the same stretch of highway recently. Doubt I'll beat that. Doubt I'll even try. Did record with speed stamp this time. Will post screen shots soon.

Well thank god for that!! I rarely peak 80 let alone a hundred.......something I learned while on the motorcycle......when connected to the rest of the universe by only wildly spinning rubber one tends to keep the speed down.

You will be surprise Mexico road are much more better maintained then US Road, but may have similar highway sign and exit

You do realize that 150 is mandatory jail time if you are caught (at least in Virginia). I once was in Fairfax traffic court and saw a guy got 30 day sentence for 120 mph on 66. He stupidly declined lawyer.

I know NOT to take any chances while driving in Virginia. I learned that lesson back in 2001 (the last speeding ticket I ever got btw...) doing 80 in a 65 on 95 South. Got reckless driving for 15 over! Virginia doesn't play.

They sure don't. My first ticket was reckless at 26 driving 50 on a 35. Had to go to court, pay 250 fine and a record on my license until I was about 33.

have you guys seen the video on here of the modded g70 going 190 mph? While 150 is fast, I will say I have gone 145 in my old 1996 Integra GSR N/A back in high school. I bet these stingers will top out at the electronic limit given enough space.

I personally know a guy who has hit 197mph with his Stinger (tuned).
