Pushed my Stinger up to 150 mph last night

Ask him for a video then, he won't give it to you because no one has done it. He might think it might get "around" 200 MPH but until it's actually done it, it can't. I'm sure they've tried and failed, what tuner wouldn't want to be able to slap "200 MPH tune" in their advertising?
I have absolutely no interest in proving someone right or wrong.
But be sure that if a video ever surfaces I will make sure to share it here.
Until now I prefer to keep a neutral position, if you allow me. :ninja:

In sport mode the car never uses the 8th gear. (as far as I know!)
Well, you can manually shift to 8th gear, but there would go your acceleration. I did my high speed runs in 7th gear exclusively.

Until proof, 200mph is hard to believe, indeed.

However, it is interesting to compare the Lap3 G70 with the Unichip Stinger.
According to Lap3 video, the G70 hits 300km/h (btw, that is 187mph not 190) but is it the end of the video? it is suddenly cut so it could have gone upper few km/h, or not... but who knows?
Now as for power, the Lap3 G70 of the video has 450WHP vs 465+ for the Unichip Stinger I am talking about. And as a matter of fact, until now in all rolling races (done in mexico) the Lap3 pro tuner (released 1-2 months ago here) lost vs Unichip. Lap3 pro tuner is probably a safer/better tune BUT no tune has yet beaten Unichip.
Also, the G70 has HTRAC vs RWD for the Stinger, which means they are the same weight.
Also, the G70 has worst aerodynamics than the Stinger (no numbers to back up this but I have read several times that the drag coefficient of the G70 is higher).
So, ==> if that G70 is able to make it to 300km/h, it does not seem crazy to me that the Stinger is able to go a bit faster. Now, by how much? 200 may be too much of a stretch but I would guess somewhere in between.

PS: The guy that claims 203mph is not my friend so I have absolutely no interest in proving that he is saying the truth. I am just trying to analyze the facts.;)

Hi! I didn't know there was a forum member that lives in Korea. A lot of adjustments were made including firmware, mapping, etc within the last couple months to make the Pro-Tuner the fastest. We wanted to make sure R&D process is finished before we release the Pro-Tuner in the state. The G70, the one we tuned recently that beat the C63 AMG(which has never lost to Unichip and other setups), hasn't lost to any of the chips and ECU tunes on the market with similar bolt-ons/setup. You should meet up with the guys on T-GDI Club, they are very nice and friendly. We posted a video of G70 running up to 300kmh, but the owner wasn't really testing out the top speed test, but to film a 0-300kmh video; thus the video stops at 300kmh. I'm sure it could go higher. The platform can definitely reach over 190mph+ as you said.

Hi
That is good news for the ProTuner, because I am personally not a big fan of the UniChip.
I have been to T-GDI meetings few times, and indeed it is a friendly community. ;)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

And I will love to watch it. If this car can hit 200 mph at 485 rwhp I'll be ECSTATIC! I just try to be realistic with performance claims, it's too easy to spread bad information on the internet and car guys have a tendency to exaggerate their performance numbers :)
