Where did you get this info and how does it compare in proportional terms to other vehicles? I agree with your perspective, but just wondering what the normal (%) inventory levels are for Optima or Forte or Sedona or K900? Are we really suggesting KIA is at the stage of having difficulty selling Stingers and we should see discounts or programs on them soon?

I am in Canada (where the cars are better equipped, but still issues related to enthusiast options) and don't see any evidence of anything other than the cars flying off the lots. But perhaps some official numbers might suggest otherwise?

This is 100% anecdotal, but I’ve only seen one Stinger on the road in the Phoenix metro. Every time I drive by a Kia dealer, I see multiple stingers on their lots. I don’t think these are flying off lots, especially in the more expensive GT 1/2 trims.

Dealers aren’t really willing to discount these, and the lease programs are pretty bad. People dead set on getting stingers are getting them, but I think they’re having a hard time pulling people away from established luxury brands, especially in a brand conscious (read: snobby) market like Scottsdale/Phoenix.

Agreed... I have only seen one on the streets so far in Cincinnati and I saw 4 front and center at a dealership in Long Island NY with a yellow one in the middle. Enthusiasts can't wait to get their hands on one but I've been wondering how well they're selling in the US. And people like me are looking forward to buying one but are waiting for the hype to calm down a bit and waiting to get the missing features.

This. And I do not think Kia has an issue with the enthusiast market (unless I don't know what an enthusiast is.). Those are the people who bought the car based on performance. The problem is with the "tempered enthusiasts" and those who just don't want a boring sedan or UV (like me).

Where did you get this info ..

cars.com and autotrader.com both showed similar numbers. Not claiming to be accurate, not claiming my perspective is reality, but I started this thread and poll because I am personally very frustrated at the current availability, and have seen many posts conveying similar feeling by other members here. I was curious to see what the response would be.

They may be flying off the lots in places, but I know the ceramic gray or whatever GT2 with red interior at my closest dealer has been sitting around for more than two weeks.

I would be driving a Stinger today if it wasn't for these limitations. I was ready to pay cash. I absolutely won't consider one now until the 2019 release, assuming they incorporate the 360º camera, and allow me to choose my own color combination.

Not for me or my daughter. We are excited to get one, and modify it, but as my daily driver, it also needs to be equipped as I had expected, and as virtually every other market has. I don't change cars frequently, I'm not going to regret a color scheme or lack of features just to get my fun quickly...

Cool, didn't realize I could use autotrader.ca to look up national numbers on a new car.

47 in all of Canada, which would translate to about 500 for USA. Way below the numbers you are seeing.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
how long did you wait, i have been waiting for six months
