Took about 2 hours to get all of it done, the engine is set up to where the passenger side spark plugs are inaccessible with a tool without removing the intake manifold UNLESS you get a few specific attachments to let you bend around the intake manifold. Even with the attachments it took about 1.5 hours for doing it for the first time. This could realistically be done in 40 or so minutes by myself now.

The short ram intakes took like 20 minutes? Just need a heat gun and a clip tool.

The jb4 took about 20 minutes, they have fuel wire attachments so I didn’t have to pierce the factory o2 sensors. Getting the CANBUS hooked up was the worst part, you have to move the rubber grommet out of its hole above the break firewall, and feed the smaller adapter up through the wiper fluid area. We taped the adapter to a thin straight metal rod to help with that.

Overall it was fun! First time working on a car, the intakes sound super whooshy and look great, and the tune provides a lot of extra torque and whp. While I have not dyno’d, burger motorsports did (using 91 octane, 93 is at every station here), they saw 414 whp and 520lb of torque. I can’t say I’m exactly at that, but the car feels awesome.

I also posted a quick 0-60 run on the jb4. Not sure how accurate it is, not getting a draggy juuuust yet. Have winter tires on currently.

Congrats!

All you need now is a catch can and gas money!

This is about to be me in a month figured I would try and atleast put over 1000 miles on my car before I add anything performance wise thanks for the advice here!!!!

When I first installed my intakes my RPM's would stutter from Wastegate oscillation on part to full throttle. This evened out over a time period of maybe 1-2 months. Good chance It might get faster.

Nice job

Excellent performance numbers, what map are you running?

I was running map2 on that, I now use map5 for 75% of my driving. Hard to go back after using map5!

What octane?

map2 was 93, map5 is 93 +4.3 gallons of e85. I do a full tank of 93 once ever 4 fillups to reset

Have you tried map 3 with 93?

I have not, I'll try map3 today with my e85 blend and then try it with normal 93 tomorrow(need gas today!) and let ya know how it feels

I had no problems doing Map 3 with 93 pump gas. When I tried E85/93 mix and map 5 the car got unhappy and thew CEL with low octane error. I ended up cleaning it up by going back to straight 93 but now I'm using Boostane on Map 5 without any issues.

How much Boostane you are running on Map 5?I ran Map 3 with 2.5 oz on a full tank of 93. NJ gas is pretty good too, I could likely run without it on Map 3.

Only 7 HP difference on Map 5 with no increase in torque. But I think Map 5 pulls a lot harder in the upper RPM curve unlike Map 3.

I run 93 for Map3, I add 3.5-4oz of Boostane Pro to a full tank for Map5 or 5 gallons of E85 to a full tank. I prefer the E85.

4oz to a full take of 93 pump gas, they actually sell 4oz shot bottles but they are way overpriced but I bought them anyway and will refill them since they are super convenient.

Why do you prefer E85? I had huge problems with it. My car didn't like it at all. 5gal of E85 to a full tank of 93 and I started getting CEL for low octane so when back to only 93 and it went away and have been using Boostane now with no problems.
