Took about 2 hours to get all of it done, the engine is set up to where the passenger side spark plugs are inaccessible with a tool without removing the intake manifold UNLESS you get a few specific attachments to let you bend around the intake manifold. Even with the attachments it took about 1.5 hours for doing it for the first time. This could realistically be done in 40 or so minutes by myself now.
The short ram intakes took like 20 minutes? Just need a heat gun and a clip tool.
The jb4 took about 20 minutes, they have fuel wire attachments so I didn’t have to pierce the factory o2 sensors. Getting the CANBUS hooked up was the worst part, you have to move the rubber grommet out of its hole above the break firewall, and feed the smaller adapter up through the wiper fluid area. We taped the adapter to a thin straight metal rod to help with that.
Overall it was fun! First time working on a car, the intakes sound super whooshy and look great, and the tune provides a lot of extra torque and whp. While I have not dyno’d, burger motorsports did (using 91 octane, 93 is at every station here), they saw 414 whp and 520lb of torque. I can’t say I’m exactly at that, but the car feels awesome.
I also posted a quick 0-60 run on the jb4. Not sure how accurate it is, not getting a draggy juuuust yet. Have winter tires on currently.
