On my trip to TX in April, I had had the Stinger for less than a month. I got two warnings: one going in and one coming out of TX. Since the second warning was only 9 mph over the speed limit (that was what I had the cruise set at, having learned my lesson going into TX at 15 mph over the speed limit), I was chagrined and mystified. The cop got out and walked up to the rear of my car and in the rearview mirror I could see his gut and his pistol on his hip, and he just stood there for a minute, then walked around to my window and said, "You were going a bit fast back there." (I heard "son", even though he didn't say it.) He was pleasant and looked about ready to retire. I decided that both cops just wanted to check out my new car, which was obviously new to them too.
Where I get my Stinger cleaned, the owner says that he hasn't yet seen another Stinger. He tells everyone that he talks to who want to buy a new car to get a Stinger, just because he is impressed with mine.
