People stare at this car

A guy at my building garage came up to me and asked if it was a stinger and how I liked it since he had been reading about it considering it for his next car. Another guy stopped me the other morning and asked “is it everything they wrote about?” Ummm yea less the soft suspension (for my taste at least, but that’s going to be fixed w/ springs and sways). I even have a neighbor who’s as much a car geek as I am and asked to see the interior and said “damn looks like a Benz, pretty damn nice”... this guy has an m3 and and c63 amg.. people who know cars, KNOW. I used to be a badge snob having owned a cayenne, 2 3 series from 2 different decades, and a Infiniti G (which I still love). This stinger is a good car w/ room for improvement, not perfect, but huge potential...

I had a guy walking into a KIA dealership because one of his co-workers was so positive about the Stinger he had to see one in real life. The couple was on their way back from IKEA and had some time to spare. Just for fun. No plans of buying.
They only had the diesel there and there was no way to testdrive it, but they were so impressed by the car and it’s specs, they left that evening with an order form for a Pantera Metal GT 3.3.


Happy to mention I am this guy.....
One of the most impulsive buys I did in my whole life. This car really does that to people. Amazing!!

The best is when you sit at a stop light and someone is starring at your car and not paying attention to what they are doing and drive into a light station, and you think to yourself, is he going to hit me. All he could say was I couldn't figure out what your car was. Next best was when a Mercedes SLG pulled up beside me and gave me two thumbs up. It says lots.

the guy doing my car asked me how much it cost and if it was a new car.

mentioned the price to him and he said it was really cheap.

I was a bit confused then he mentions that he thought maseratis were more expensive lol

I had kinda of the same experience on Monday getting gas but the guy thought it was a Jaguar.

Yeah, SwarmBuddies. In the one month I have had my blue GT2, I have had any number (lost count at about 25) of doubletakes, admiring stares, approaches in parking lots, smartphone videos by other drivers, drive-by zoomings (Scatpack, Porsche 911 Turbo S and Panamera, at least 3 Maseratis, Tesla S and 2x3's, Audi R8, several BMWs, (including a lovely blue M5). Several of these (particularly the Scatpack and the 911) obviously wanted to street-race me, but I declined to endanger the innocent folks driving around us, and watched them streak away into the distance. My favorite, (and my wife's as well), was at our local CVS pharmacy. Came out, and found one of the workers on his break filming the car with his iPhone. He said he was sending the video to his wife, because he had never seen so beautiful a car! He said he had just bought a new Sedona, and wished he had gotten the Stinger instead. I love my car, friends.

P.S., I work where the rich and famous live, and see all of the abovementioned autos (and more, like Lambos, Bentleys, and McLarens) every day coming in and out. Though the folks who live there own the very elite of cars, many have still expressed admiration for the Stinger. Now that is respect!

Pulling into the gate on base this evening I hear the security forces guys, “hey, that’s a Stinger. Pull him over.” I then get “selected” for a random car search which became a Q&A session. Didn’t mind at all.

Have people taking pics from their car at redlights...gas guy at Sam’s asking me about it... if they only new how sweet this ride is...better then the c450 AMG I traded!!!

Mine got LOTS of attention during a fire alarm test at work. Instead of going to the muster point, they all went to look at mine......

Went to grab a bite at Zaxby's yesterday in the drive through, and while there with the window down see one of the employees walk out of the back and here "WOOO! I like that car!". Before I know it her has gone back in and drug another two outside to look at the car, one of which came up and told me he liked how the car looked.

Had another drive through attendant freak out over the car today and scream for someone inside the restaurant to come to the window and check it out.

Must be the new tint, because I wasn't quite getting this much attention until it was applied, lol.

During a long road trip last week, I was paced by maybe ten cars for a couple of miles, mostly BMW drivers but a couple of Audi's and other stuff. Lots of comments at gas stations. Mine is HiChroma Red so it looks like the ads people have seen on TV.

But I don't look like Fittipaldi..... maybe I should buy a driving suit like his .... so when I climb out of the car ... maybe I could also climb out the window .... naw, too much trouble.... lots of fun as it is....

Went shopping for a used car for my daughter in college at a large Subaru dealership. Weather was nice, so I pulled up to the front, and the next "up" came out to great me. Saw the car I was driving and started to ask me about it. Within a few minutes about 1/3 employees of the Subaru dealership was out there, taking pictures of it and filming it on their cameras. I decided to be a real sport and popped the hood to allow them to see what's under there. The car got more attention than Stormy Daniels on a nude beach

Just had a cool experience with an young auto enthusiast. I was pulling into a shopping plaza and a couple members of this family started pointing at my car. I smiled, gave a thumbs up and tried to find a parking spot. As I turned into the 3rd row I realized one of their kids was running after me. I parked and got out right as the kid ran up behind my car. He looked sooo excited but then had a puzzled look on his face. He said "Thats a Kia?!?" and continued to walk around my car taking pics with his phone. I responded yes and asked why he looked confused. He said his dad swore it was a Lamborghini and that it was the "sickest" Kia he's ever seen! His dad then walked up and said "beautiful car, I really cant believe Kia made this". He started asking me dozens of questions while he pointed out our cool features to his son. It was so cute to see how excited this 8yr old was about the Stinger and as he left he smiled and said I'll call it the "Lambo Killer!"

I've had a few mistake it for a Maserati, but will take Lambo killer any day!

I've had many people driving Audis, BMWs, Mercedes, etc asking me what the car is all the time. Then I go to a hole in the wall BBQ place for some ribs and two back of the house employees come out at different times while I was standing next to my car in the parking lot and recognized the car right away! They knew all about the Stinger ... LOL!!! Go figure!

The funniest thing happened the other night. Driving in my Stinger with my wife in the passenger seat. Both of us were all nicely dressed and done up, going to a fancy restaurant to attend a family function. Got caught in a bit of traffic on the highway, and this guy next to us on the passenger side us rolls down his window, sticks out his arm, and gives us a big thumbs up. My wife starts blushing, thinking it was meant for her. She turns to me and says that she must look really good in her new dress! Realizing what was happening, the guy in the other car starts pointing at my Stinger, making certain that we knew the thumbs up were for the car, not for my hot wife!!! Classic moment! Now my wife wants a Stinger too!
