3.3TT P061B code jb4 map 1 - limp mode

Turn on options bit0, or just disconnect the AFR wires fro the posi-taps and tuck them out of the way.

No since the run is basically in limp mode so it's not making normal boost.
Ok here it is Terry. V15 Map 1 first, then Map 0, and Map 2 (let me know if map 2 is ok please thank you)

So this is with tightening the fuel wire tap both ends on driver side. Didnt drive more then 30min but i havnt seen the Code P061B come back yet

PS: i also noticed every first time i change maps, it reverts back to map 1 everytime. So i always have to apply it twice. (did this on v14 as well)

Log looks normal so keep on trucking!

Map2 seems fine from what I've seen there.

Map1 + V15 beta

I tried 2 runs of 45 minutes without CEL.
At this moment it's ok

Another question about log. Is it normal that i see false peaks since boost signal. Check this picture

False Peak boost

Looks like an app issue or signal strength issue on the blue tooth adapter, photo of how it's located in the engine bay?

I have a suspicion this fault might be related to an issue with the JB4 mobile adapters themselves. Photo of your adapter and where it's located in the engine bay?

Here is the pic. So i drove today for 45min This is what happened. No code so thats good. I started on map 2 (turned off my car previously on this). It stayed on map 2 for about 15min. After that it suddenly without me doing anything changed to Map 1 and stayed on Map 1

I've also uploaded an auto log (did not start it myself) of i think when it switched (doesnt show the change in the log.

One more thing i'll note that i forgot to previously mention. The main connector on the jb4 harness side did not have ANY screws securing it to the board. It came with 2 loose screws for the BT adapter only. So i am missing 2 screws on the main connector side.

As a test try removing the black shell on the JB4 mobile adapter that attaches to the JB4 board, I wonder if that might be preventing a solid connection to the adapter.

Any advice on my previous post? about the map switching 2 to 1 by itself?

I will check the connection between the mobile jb4 and the jb4 module at this week end. If after checking the connection and the problem is still present, will you send me a new mobile bluethoot jb4 ?

It's an evolving issue so we're trying to figure out if all of the new JB4 mobile adapters are physically faulty, if there is a firmware issue with them, or if there is some other issue like the connector not allowing a proper fit to the JB4 control board.

Meanwhile I'm working on firmware v15.1 I'll post later for you guys to test trying to patch the issue on the JB4 side.

Ok thank you. Good job. I appreciate the speed of your responses !

sounds good thanks Terry. I am also going to test if it is a bluetooth/app issue by setting the map, making sure its set to 2, and then closing the app disconnecting BT completely to see if it decides to change on its own again. THat should tell us if its on hte jb4 side or BT/app side.
