2.0T No response?

Ok thank you!

That is the axle back version, and I am selling the full Catback EVC. The cheapest I’ve seen the Catback EVC is like $1600 plus shipping from Korea, so I think my $1200 ask is still realistic for it being literally almost brand new (was on the car for like 300 miles, if that). Although it hasn’t sold yet so... maybe not! Lol

Thanks again!

Ok sorry about that. I misunderstood you.

Something worth considering for VIVID racing is the TUBI exhaust system for $1200 without EVC. I just bought it and cant wait for it to be on. There's also the MBRP exhaust for $900 and if you look hard enough on ebay you can find a Jun BL exhaust with EVC for around $1200.
Will you be posting a video once you have it installed?
I’m looking to get a new exhaust and can’t decide yet.

Hey guys, I haven't been on the forums in awhile but I also have a 2.0 and am experiencing a lot of the frustration you are as well. I don' think that I am at the forefront of innovation by any means, but I have a very good performance mechanic in my area who is working with me to build some custom pieces and would love to share with you all as i get results. So far I have a few mods as far as performance, most recently completed was a full 2.5" catback exhaust custom build by my mechanic. I have a date set to get the car dyno tested on the 29th to see where my numbers are at before we build a custom HFC downpipe. Then will retest again to see gains, followed soon after by JB4. Once we hit that point, we will more than likely start looking at different turbo options or anything else he thinks we can improve.

Hopefully I can help some in the near future but I'm also looking forward to seeing others results as well!

I’ve been thinking about doing a custom exhaust system as well since the axle back kit from NGM might not happen (all the reviews I’ve read about their site is very off putting). How much did your mechanic charge you for the custom set up if you don’t mind me asking. Also do you have any videos of it for sound like drive by and stuff, and do you know what Muffler’s/resonators were used?

So all in all, I paid him about 750 in labor, mostly because I wanted him to TIG weld it which takes longer. If I just had him MIG weld it I probably would have been more around 500 labor. Parts were pretty cheap... it was just 2.5" stainless piping from ebay, a 2.5" flex pipe, and a vibrant 1792 resonator.

These are the pictures I have from under the car. I have some videos on my Instagram page of revs and interior driving.

I'll try to get some time and do some drive by's.

TS - do you still have that axle back exhaust?

No sir, sold it last week. And it was a full Catback. Loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone interested.. just didn’t fit my new Stinger.

I went with the Custom Catback Exhaust called the Street Demon. Here are some pics and sound video.
