Question: New to the forum, Owner of a 2019 Stinger GT1. I have received the recall notice, oddly around a week ago while driving some of the warning lights freaked out, and I have noticed some burning smells here and there. According to this recall it says to call RA and have the car towed if this is happening.
My question is, since there is no remedy and the nearest Kia dealership is over 50 miles from my home, what is one supposed to do for transportation? I live in the mountains of SWVA, the nearest dealership is in Bristol Tennessee. We do not have Uber/Lyft services around here. I am currently working from home due to COVID, but who is to know how long they would have the car since a remedy is not even out yet. I attempted to call the number for Kia Care, but they are closed on Sunday, I really don't/can't be without my car for an extended period of time and have to rely on family/friends to take me places.
Has anyone thrown this question to Kia yet, are they going to supply something to drive while the car is being taken care of?
