That being said, before I "went to the dark side', I was very curious as to how the 2.5 stacked up. Didn't get a chance to test drive one so any feedback would be appreciated. A compare to the 3.3 would be cool but if you didn't get a chance to test drive one then your thoughts on the 2.5 alone would be good.![]()
I didn’t get a chance to check out the 3.3 but my short synopsis of the 2.5 is….AWESOME RIDE!!!!! I have said it before on the forum since the '22's started showing up.....that color with the new wheels is P-I-M-P!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think it is the best color on the 22.

Yes, that is how I still describe it: "This car feels like you're doing twenty under what you are actually going." 80 feels like 60. 100 is nothing. Watch out!trust me…20 over doesn’t feel like 20 over in that car.
I agree 100% haha. I'm very interested to see what products come out for the new 2.5L tunes etc. I haven't seen anything yet given how new that motor is.Yes, that is how I still describe it: "This car feels like you're doing twenty under what you are actually going." 80 feels like 60. 100 is nothing. Watch out!My wife's test drive was exactly like that: I'd warned her: but when she got in the fast lane on the freeway and booted it, in no time she was over 100 and completely caught by surprise. This was the 3.3L, of course. It's cool to hear descriptions of the 2.5L sounding the same. I think that the 2.5L, if the Stinger goes for some years yet, will become the dominant late seller.
Right up until the battery packs get added......LOLI think that the 2.5L, if the Stinger goes for some years yet, will become the dominant late seller.
Well, that, as they say, is another story.Right up until the battery packs get added......LOL
I never quite understood that idea fully, I always felt like I was going the speed I was going and aware of it, but this cruises like my BMW did and it's nice and smooth. I've had to explain the difference to my friends about 100mph being a comfortable cruise in these cars...vs. my 1LE where it's just a number on the dial the needle shoots pastYes, that is how I still describe it: "This car feels like you're doing twenty under what you are actually going." 80 feels like 60. 100 is nothing.
