Hi from Ohio,

Just got my 2022 Stinger GT-Line AWD with the Sun & Sound Package and red leather interior option. Looking forward to talking with all of you and hearing feedback from those who have had their Stinger's for a while!

Very nice. I'm really starting to like these facelifted Stingers. Welcome to the forum and congrats.

Howdy. Nobody has that kind of Stinger "for a while". :D You're a pioneer.

Hey chrisgeneric,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Kia Stinger!

Wow, I can not believe you were able to find one with the red interior!

I went to a couple dealerships a few weeks ago and nobody had the GT-Line with a red interior.

If you are ever looking for mods you should definitely check out our shop at www.K8StingerStore.com.

Feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions, need suggestions, or a discount on your order!

Enjoy the new ride,
Daniel @ the K8 Stinger Store

AWESOME RIDE!!!!! I have said it before on the forum since the '22's started showing up.....that color with the new wheels is P-I-M-P!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think it is the best color on the 22.

That being said, before I "went to the dark side', I was very curious as to how the 2.5 stacked up. Didn't get a chance to test drive one so any feedback would be appreciated. A compare to the 3.3 would be cool but if you didn't get a chance to test drive one then your thoughts on the 2.5 alone would be good.

I didn’t get a chance to check out the 3.3 but my short synopsis of the 2.5 is….

IMO…great option and still plenty of power to get you moving quickly. Turbo lag is reduced by sport mode for sure…launch control is worth checking out but I still feel I launch the car better without it. But the 2.5 performs great…is slightly less thirsty…but I’ll constantly catch myself looking down going oh s*** that’s not the speed limit because trust me…20 over doesn’t feel like 20 over in that car.

Yes, that is how I still describe it: "This car feels like you're doing twenty under what you are actually going." 80 feels like 60. 100 is nothing. Watch out! :D My wife's test drive was exactly like that: I'd warned her: but when she got in the fast lane on the freeway and booted it, in no time she was over 100 and completely caught by surprise. This was the 3.3L, of course. It's cool to hear descriptions of the 2.5L sounding the same. I think that the 2.5L, if the Stinger goes for some years yet, will become the dominant late seller.

I agree 100% haha. I'm very interested to see what products come out for the new 2.5L tunes etc. I haven't seen anything yet given how new that motor is.

I'd love the V6 for the increase in performance/variable exhaust etc. but for now it's still an upgrade from what I used to drive so I couldn't be happier with it. Kia did an outstanding job with the Stingers...and the amount of features you get for the money is incredible.

I never quite understood that idea fully, I always felt like I was going the speed I was going and aware of it, but this cruises like my BMW did and it's nice and smooth. I've had to explain the difference to my friends about 100mph being a comfortable cruise in these cars...vs. my 1LE where it's just a number on the dial the needle shoots past :)
