Does yours show the graphic in the center bottom or just the airflow?

I prefer the first gen climate screen - Much easier to read. The temp is too small on the updated version, and the difficult to know what HVAC is set.

Reading the change log, this update looks like a fail.

Who really cares for or wants a full dark scheme in the day time? I don't see how its any more contrasting than the lighter schemes. Also, still no manual day/night control.

Lets hope the apr/may update brings something useful to the table.

For anyone that does install this, please comment on how visible the hvac icons are (esp the active vents).
Installing tonight and really hoping for HVAC display improvements...

The previous version was quite pathetic for that.

The climate screen is hugely improved now. The black map is OK.

There are some slight theme tweaks but still on standard rather than premium skin.

Android Auto is still not full screen, still not on the wide-screen UI, still no wifi Hotspot or Android auto wireless. UVO calendar still flaky.

If you are waiting for android auto wireless, it's not going to happen. That requires a head unit that has wireless capability and Stinger doesn't have that. AAWireless makes a plugs into the USB port and connects wirelessly to your phone. I have it and it works great.

I mentioned no wifi or android wireless because some have claimed it is coming in an update, so they don't get their hopes up. I am aware of AAWireless and have two perks and have posted how to set it up to force the wide-screen AA UI in the respective threads.

It was mentioned in one of these threads (might be even this one), that the SoC used in the stinger (at least MY 22) is capable of wifi and lte. For whatever reasons kia/hyundai have not (are not?) implementing this functionality.

I still haven't used AA, just the stock nav a few times. Maybe next year when I do a road trip. For roadtrips I plan my own routes on the pc using garmin software, upload it to the garmin gps, then have it guide me. No gps system in existence would choose my routes.

Generally locally, all I need is traffic info. Know the area quite well as well as best shortcuts around bottlenecks. I rather drive 5 miles out of my way than sit in stop and go.

These 2 screens are much better.

The custom mode screen used to cut off the word "Settings"

Anyone figure out this new "Valet" mode?

I can't find anything related to it at www.myuvo.ca

...they stuffed the preset contrast settings (way oversaturated) for 360 reverse camera mode about 2 updates ago ... have they fixed that?

Getting the same message for my 22 GT1

Wouldn't be the first time they pulled it after releasing due to a high number of complaints. This happened with the April release.

I just did the update this morning on my commute to work. Took forever to get the files on my SD card. Multiple attempts and hours spent on that process.
