Nah, my initial post was pretty much hyperbole phrased as a question. But not an intentional troll, just venting frustration with the limitations of...well, physics I suppose. Your point is valid.
I turn 50 next month, figure it's about time.Damn you, being all mature about it.
No, more seriously, nicely played.
that was my guess still haven’t found anything yetCould be a vacuum hose or air bypass solenoid.
hey i got an engine light and the code coming up is P01410. has anyone gotta this or know what it is.
how do i update?Update to the BETA app so it reads the code format properly, older app had an issue there sometimes, and read code again. Should give just 4 digits no P in front of it.
how do i update?
I have a full tank of Shell 91 running map 2 and it's the shits. But I have been using Shell 91 for the previous few months with no problem, again on map 2. So whats up with that...shit gas? Fouled plug? When I get back I'll go to stock and give it a try then to map 1 and see what happens.mobil in Canada is Esso using their parent company branding. So the 91 octane you get from Mobil is the same as you'd get from Esso.
Also, if you're running inferior 91 octane fuels like costco, centex, 7-11 etc, you need to expect inferior results. As we'd discussed previously, shell 91 in Canada is far and away the best 91 option.
I also have DIY intakes, so that may factor into ECU boost. Supposedly, at least in the USA, AWD Stingers were pushing about 2lbs more boost than RWD. I wonder if for some reason the Canadian Stinger tuning is neutered and only puts out around that 10 mark like the RWD cars. I've seen a few other logs from Canadians and I'm not seeing that magical 12psi commanded across the pull.
**Edit on the boost level** I actually get more than 10psi average when in fourth gear. At least on my car I don't get that magical 11-12 psi until in fourth.
Why would other PID's be inaccurate? You have absolutely nothing to back such a statement.if the app is that far off with boost, imagine the other PID's

AFR is also about .4 higher than obd apps.Don't mind Michael, he is just the resident lap3 nut swinger.![]()
Locke is un banned! The force has returned to balance. Good to have both or all three sides
It's been like crickets around here.really? its been so nice and peacefulWash
You're incorrect and not sure why you keep making up nonsense.OEM boost for all cars rwd or AWD is 14psi.
Don't know where everyone is getting the 12 number from. I hope you all don't trust the jb4 gauge. It's off by almost 2psi and this has been discussed.
My advice is get a real vac operated or vac to digital sender unit. The only way is accuracy and if the app is that far off with boost, imagine the other PID's
First time I ever heard of such a thing. Also, AWD Stingers that pull the AWD fuse to run in RWD mode are quicker than standard RWD versions
