New 3.3L Catback option(s)

Wow that actually sounds pretty good. However, there’s no way I believe there’s no drone.

I mean, the way it's built, it is possible that there's no drone (don't they say "no drone guarranted"??). I mean, I strongly doubt that there'll be so much drone that it's unliveable...maybe a little, but I'm willing to trust their statement (let's settle on "almost no drone" lol). I guess we'll just have to wait and see...it does sound pretty tammed down when under light throttle.

I ordered one of these things today.

T304 since we do occasionally get snow and I do plan on keeping my Stinger for some time.

Found it @ a great price, $949 and free shipping.

If someone is interested in the aluminum version they can be had for $699 w/ free shipping.
Great! Please make sure to post videos when it'll be installed. Like inside & outside cabin + light & WOT acceleration

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I did not personally have an MBRP exhaust on my 2016 Camaro SS because I did cutouts, but I know many folks who did have the MBRP exhaust and they swore there was no drone. No drone out of a 6.2L v8 is an impressive feat so I’ll take them at their word. And given that there’s no cutting required to install this exhaust, if I don’t like it, I’ll just put the stock exhaust back on.

As long as the stock downpipes/mid (whatever the hell they are), most have not had drone (with similar cat backs)
People seems to be reporting more drone with just the sec cat delete (SecDP/midpipe or whatever) paired with stock Catback than with stock SecDP/Midpipe paires with aftermarket Catback. At least, that's what I seem to read more about.

Agreed. Removing the cats adds a deeper note and tends to amplify the drone between 1500-2500rpm.

However the helmholtz resonators(side silencers) on this and similar exhausts make a HUGE difference if done correctly. I look forward to people’s reviews of this catback as it sounds the closest to a muffler delete that I’ve heard so far.

Where did you find it with free shipping? I was quoted $80 to ship to FL.

Thanks but they don’t seem to have the aluminized version which is all I would want since I won’t have it for more than a couple years.

You sound like my wife...quick to say something cannot be found and my instant response, “did you even look?”

S4704AL - MBRP Exhaust - Installer Series - Moddiction

MBRP Dual Pro Series Cat Back Exhaust Aluminized Kia Stinger 2018-2019

MBRP 2.5" Cat Back Dual Rear Exit Aluminized Exhaust For 18-19 Kia Stinger 3.3L | eBay

That’ll be $5 for my time please.

@ecko04 appears to have ordered one, didn't glance back up to see who else. I'm very curious how this exhaust is like in the wild.

there's a few guys on here talking about getting the non ss version because they don't plan on keeping their car for more than a few years. My suggestion is to go ahead and spend the extra money and get the ss. When you part the car out before you sell it, your resell on a rusty exhaust is going to be pennies, if anyone buys it at all. You'll be able to recoup a good deal of the cost back if you get ss and it's in good shape.

I really like the sound of this exhaust in the clips, not too loud, just accentuates the stock note which is what I'm looking for. Can't wait to get reviews from you guys that buy it!

Lol and think you got that backwards. It’s men that don’t see something right in front of our faces.

But in my defense I did search both websites and even put in my vehicle but it still didn’t pull up either exhaust.:cautious:

Either way thanks again and if I can’t get the new exhaust drone fix to work well I’m probably going this direction.
