I'm definitely interested in the MBRP 304SS Catback Exhaust and would also like to do secDP as well. Still not sure on SSR or ARK for the secDP. I really am wondering what the sound will be like when combining both parts. They say the catback is absolutely drone free, but when paired with SSR or ARK secDP, I doubt it'll stay drone free...a little bit of drone won't bother me, though.

Thoughts on which secDP to get, for those who have either of SSR or ARK?

I have ssr so I would know when I get the exhaust installed.

There's almost no one in here that has taken the factory primary catalyser out of their Stinger...what are you talking about??

Incorrect. There are multiple catless(turboback exhaust) Stingers on this forum and a few with highflow primary cats like the Ultimate performance DP combo kit.

There is an ongoing debate about the gains of 2ndDPs, but almost every agrees the primary cats are the biggest restriction on the exhaust side and will produce the most gains. So his primary > secondary comment holds true until proven otherwise.:thumbup:

Where or when did I ever asked if I should replace primary or secondary DP or even which one is better? If I were to ask you "what's your favorite type of car?", would you answer me "carrots are better for your eyes than peas"??

Lots of peeps, in here, have a hard time staying on topic...

Slow your roll brother as I was only replying to your comment and didn’t make the first comparison statement. If you noticed I actually put “Creative” on the comparison post because I too thought it was interesting your question was answered with an opinion.;)

Since your statement wasn’t correct I was simply providing knowledge so you didn’t have to search through 100’s of posts about members removing/replacing primary DPs. As they say, no good deed goes unpunished...:unsure:

I do agree threads go off topic too often, and people interject opinions whether you want them our not. However most come from a good place and Secondchance was probably just trying to inform you of the latest dyno results pointing to minimal HP gains for 2ndDPs.

Maybe you don’t care about HP gains, but wouldn’t you be happier being armed with that info before spending $300-$700 on them and expecting 20-30whp like advertised?

I get your point and understand your reaction, but suggest taking a breath before going on the offensive since most people on here just want to help their fellow Stinger family.

I don't reply or even post that often, but I do read a lot of topics. Maybe it was because of all my previous reactions, reading that type of thing happening and not commenting, that made me be sacrastic or something, but I did enjoyed your reply. I come here a lot 'coz I really like my car and I really like reading enthusiasts talking about their cars. I certainly don't have time nor do I want to engage in ego fights that goes on and on lol. I have better thing to do. So, case closed!

For the primary DP, my KIA mechanic tells me it's a huge no-no for the company (at least, KIA CANADA). SecDP and Catback are very ok because it is very hard to prove they can/have caused related mechanical troubles (his words, not mine). That's why I'm not even worrying about those and focusing on CB and SecDP. But, since that it appears that even when combined, they don't offer any significant increase in WHP & WTQ, I might consider doing only one of the two, based on sound and drone.
