The files are for 2019 and 2020 Stingers. If yours is a 2018 they probably won't work. I don't know that anyone has tried it. The model numbers of the 2018 and 2019/2020 are different so I'd be surprised if the files for the wrong one would work.
Here's a picture of the screen from my 2019. User wittmason posted pictures of the same screen on his 2018. As you can see the model numbers are different. Also notice that the software/firmware for the 2018 starts with CK where the 2019/20 is CK19.
If you go to the mapnsoft website and search for the Stinger there is a link to the 'New Features Guide'. All of those features are in the update that I uploaded. One change that user Wilzer noticed is that the address icon is missing from the Nav screen. If you click on the Places icon while parked you can enter an address in the box that is provided. For example, '123 Main St. Chicago IL' and it should find it. There are some cosmetic changes like the icons on the map screen are more rounded and have more color. The other odd thing I noticed is, when I was using the Nav one time, an icon with a 'P' popped up near the left side. I touched it and it became underlined with red. I touched it again and the red went away so it's a toggle. I have no idea what it was for and I only saw it one time. Some of the settings menus have been changed or moved around. I've read that some of the 14.0 versions had missing settings for the climate system. Those settings are ok in this update.
Wilzer, I'm just curious. Can you tell me what the map version is of the software you received on the SD card you ordered?

At this point I think I’d just spend the $25 on the preloaded sd card and give that a go.
Hmm tried with cmd line. tried with admin cmd line. Restarted. Tried app as admin. Still sets to South Korea with no other options.
They must have stripped it clean.
