Mpg?

If your Stinger can exceed 140 MPH, it is on tires rated at over 180 MPH. Perfectly safe. Cops, otoh, are a problem. My singular experience was devoid of cops and I knew it "in my cells": thus my foray into high performance play. Btw, the Stinger is everything it is touted to be at speed: quiet, smooth and stable. It filled me with confidence the entire time I was playing.

Not hardly, Kia just picks them. Which, judging by other discussions, they screwed up on the A/S Bridgestones. Too noisy, and slow, so say others anyway. Some people are a lot more picky.

For what it's worth... Just got home from a week long road trip. El Paso to Austin to San Antonio back to El Paso.
Average 31 mpg over the whole deal. Most time on the highway was in Eco mode with cruise set at 85-90. How cool is that?

3.3 Zero mods so far.
Nice! I’ve been getting 29-31ish on the computer on longer hauls. One of the missing, and weirdly missing, features on this car is a simple trip odometer. It’s buried in the menus and not actually easy to use. I miss a simple one.

Yup. I just noticed that on this trip.

These are actual fuel economy numbers (not from computer). GT2, 3.3L with 1950 miles.
  • Overall Average: 24.56 MPG
  • Best (100% highway, ~78MPH): 27.37 MPG
  • Around town (~75% City): 22.50 MPG
I find the computer is optimistic (reads high) by about 1.5-2.5 Miles/Gallon.

I use an Android app called ACar to track fuel economy and expenses.

My Fuel Economy gauge was trying to impress me yesterday. For the first time I saw 30.1. I'm not believing, though, because right before that it was jumping around like it couldn't make up its little mind. :P

I know it doesn't mean too much... But was tickled to see 30. I forgot to snap a pic of total miles, mpg, time ect..

I agree. It’s very optimistic. I was showing 29-30ish on my jaunt. Automatic (automatic.com) was reporting 25-26, far more realistic I think. I’m going to start doing gas tank fill up testing as I’m approaching 2k miles.

Anyone know how many gallons are left when the low fuel light comes on?

13-15L/100km for city and urban driving

9-11L/100km for highway and cruising (i.e. 80km/h roads with minimal traffic lights).

Can chuck it into a conversion tool for Mpg stats.

I use Fuelly to track my mileage. The App also keeps track of all Stinger's that are registered with the App. I filtered the mileage for just the 3.3TT and this is the graph the App spit out.

For a quick conversion - 282.5 divided by L per 100 = MPG

Yes, give it more time. I wasn't even focused on fuel economy till well into my second or even third tank of gas.
