If I’m not in car with my phone to change maps around and wife takes car jb4 will stay in map 1 right?

It will stay in whatever map you put it in last. So if you had it in map 1 <yesterday> and your wife takes the car <today>, it will be in map 1. If you had it in map 2, it will be in map 2, etc. Map 0 is completely stock and map 4 is half power from stock, if you ever need to use either.

I understand that. But like sitting here when I look at app in house it says map 0. But when I got out of car last it was on map 2. So is car on map 2 still and since app is not connected to car when I open app it says 0.

Data is only read from JB4 when app is connected to the JB4.

Nope, it always stays on the last map it was set to via the app.

Nope - when you set the car to map 2 the car will be on map 2 until you change it with the app again. The app does not need to be connected to the car to drive it. You could take out your JB4 completely, send it to me, and it will still be on map 2 until someone else connects it to an app to change the map.

Terry if your out there with me being at sea level in Florida with good 93 octane here. Should car react differently with the jb4.

Me? Highest I've gone is map 3. I ran it with 93 for a few hundred miles.

I've recently gone back to map 2 because I don't trust winter blend fuel.
