Installed my system today, here's a quick start up vid.

Is that a cold start? You have the same setup as me and I get a metallic vibration at cold-start for a couple seconds. Anything like that for you?

Proud to announce that 12 MRBP exhaust orders are shipping out today, leaving only (1) order we have left to ship out at this time.

Thank you all for your patience with this whole thing. We had over 25 orders placed within a 60 day period and there was an insane demand for this exhaust both for us and the manufacturer to get done. Happy that we were able to get all but one shipped out as of now.

Anyone else interested in ordering 1 of these exhausts either in the aluminum or stainless setup, feel free to reach out for a discount on the purchase. We have (1) in stock NOW in aluminum and will have the stainless back in stock next week sometime, if not later this evening.

Can someone kindly explain to me what makes the mbrp exhaust better than the borla? I know it's .25 larger in diameter but what else? The mbrp sounds like it's a bit deeper but they say it's less loud than the borla? Thank you in advance.

It's 30% less expensive, it's less restrictive, and is less obnoxious. A Win Win Win.

Thank you for the reply. The numbers I'm seeing for mbrp are literally 50 dollar difference than the borla. The mbrp stainless steel comes out to 1265 cad and the borla is 1306. Is it different cost in the states perhaps?

I don't think there's really a 'better' when it comes to exhausts, as everyone has different tastes. You just need to balance the sound you want with how much you're willing to pay for it. If you get those right, then you've bought the best exhaust for you, which is all that matters.

Many are opting for the cheaper aluminized (I think am spelling that correctly) version which is 800ish. If you need the SS, then it's probably a wash? Availability seems to be the issue with this vs the Borla.

I got my stainless steel for $930 shipped from Redline360 - Performance Parts & Lifestyle. They had a discount code 'WELCOME' that knocked $30 off.

Note that the wait time was a month.

Dave from K8 let me know today that mine has shipped. Very excite!

Yeah I'm up in Canada. Definitely need the stainless steel.

Yeah unfortunately I went a custom muffler delete. It sounded amazing.. but the reverb was insane so I had added a magnaflow muffler and drone tubes which nerfed the sound. Worse off I found out after that extending tips would have solved my reverb issue. It's also welded on instead of bolt on so I'm at a loss now and must get a catback.

Makes sense it would be cheaper in the the states. Unfortunately up here they're almost at par. I'm looking for a deep sound which I believe both should have but also looking for which has more power later down the road for future mods

Nope, no trimming at at all. The tips are exactly the same size as the factory fakies. Just lots of wiggling to get them to sit straight and even.

Do you have the link to the exact tips you purchased? Can't find that width size in aliexpress. Thank you

Thanks for this information. Helps out a lot. Will definitely be ordering the tips to help with reverb. Hoping shipping won't take too long out to Canada.

Those are the carbon fibre ones. I'm not really into that kind so I'll be going with the regular black ones. I do however want to keep the oval shape. I find it gives the car a good accent. So hoping it will fit well once it all goes together.
