Good to know! Thank you. I guess it would be recommended to have tips put on at the same time as the whole exhaust. I planned on putting on the exhaust myself but winter is around the corner so might have a shop do it.

It’s so easy to do this install in the garage with a jack and 4 jack stands. By far one of the easiest cars I’ve ever had to put in the air without a lift. I installed mine the same night it arrived using a few floor lights.
Given the relative “newness” of the Stinger, the exhaust components haven’t had time to seize themselves to the point of needing to get out the torch to loosen stubborn bolts, which helps make the install a breeze.
Having the appropriate tools goes a long way.

Ordered my MBRP from eBay on Wednesday 11/6 and it arrived today 11/8. That was crazy fast. I am in PA, where they have a distribution center. Super excited to install it! Just waiting for my tips now

That's ridiculous how you ordered yours and received it just 2 days later. I ordered the SS on 9/3, still haven't received mine.

I ordered the tips on ebay and they're guaranteed by the 15th. hopefully i see them sooner before my impatience causes me to install the exhaust before i get them. i know how i am

You can always remove the fake tips while installing the exhaust and slide your new tips on once they arrive. You just don’t want to be rolling around for more than a week without tips as the heat can begin to warp the plastic bits after awhile. It won’t be deformed but still you don’t want too much of that.
