@GennyGuy has more experience than me here, as mine was the original form of boost ready and I was not a fan of it, so this new version im hoping will be significantly improved once I get my car back from warranty.
Personally however, I dident like how I could be cruising in eco mode at 1800rpm in 8th gear and be in a perpetual 4ish lbs of boost, which caused a drop in fuel economy, and it made a fluttering sound like a giant butterfly having a stroke. (Literally the best way I can describe it) Supposedly the new version no longer causes that sound. I chose 2200rpm cuz the boost will still ramp up quicker than stock, but I will be able to do 80mph on the highway and still not be in boost if I wanna go for better gas mileage. 80mph is somewhere between 2050 and 2150rpm in 8th gear. I figure if im any higher in the rev range, ill probably be mashing the pedal anyway, as cruising above 80 anywhere in the USA is begging for a ticket.
